Last I read, he was continuing to heal according to the Docs projections and of course the half live/half world needs a hero cd. Anything else going on??
Van Halen without the original 4 is just not Van Halen.

My brother and I were just discussing Dave Mustaine. He said in the news section at Megadeth's website there is a message from Dave saying something to the affect that he is still working on rehabilitating his arm, he has been playing the guitar and that everyone would be hearing from him soon. I hope so, cause "World Needs a Hero" was a kick ass album and I'm kicking myself in the ass for not seeing their last tour.

I didn't know that! Thanks for the update.
I really miss Megadeth and Dave Mustaine. I pray that he can play to his full potential again some day.
He's such a great songwriter... and his snarling voice...
There's nothing as intense as Megadeth out there.

Good to hear from other fans out there. I also hope he is better soon. I think he is one of the best metal singers/songwriters out there. Just my opinion. He writes a lot of stuff that many of us think, but never say.

    I'm with you, AlexFan.

    Sending good thoughts Dave's way.

Hell, Mustaine's lyrics are thought out and thought provoking. I swear sometimes I feel like he and I are thinking the same things, but he is famous and I am not, therefore he has a way to get it out. The man works hard to put out his music and from the behind the music expose on Megadeth, he used to put on shows even when he was dope sick and throwing up or whatever. The man is deadicated. Hey, does anyone know what causes or caused his case of damaged radial nerves?

I'm waiting for the band with the other guys from Megadeth (Dave Ellifson, Al Pitreli, Jimmy DeGresso and Marty Friedman) to come out. Has anyone heard anything about their progress?

That would be cool, but it ain't Megadeth. There is no replacement for Mustaine at all.

Actually, Al Pitrelli is back in Savatage/TSO for now. I'm sure he'd probably dump them again for a second helping from the more lucrative Megadeth gravy bowl, though.
