    Okay, well folks I'm all slaushed and tatered and fully inside this pleasure dome thinkin' about some lil' memories that brought me back to the day of when *I* was a mini-eyes.(DIF? JC is lookin' for CR's isn't he.)

    JC=Johnny Cochoran(sp?)
    CR=CopyRights

    Pretty much a "vs." between two bands that you could be ashamed of listening too. Now here's the thing guy's White Lion vs. Bon Jovi? Or, is is it vitto bratta(rip off exstrodinare of EVH) vs. ???(who played the original runaway in Jon Bon Jovi'es demo?)

    I dunno? I'll let you guys post first about these two bands before I get into it.

    Self to Note: I had to restart this thread topic on the grounds that I did not like the "title" of the thread. In stating this *I* would like for a moderator to please "delete" the other thread.

    *PLEASE!!!*

    Well, Bon Jovi has contributed a little more to the music biz, mind you very little, and White Lion was pretty much here and gone with one album. So, I guess I'll go with Bon Jovi. Plus JBJ voice is much better than that David Lee Roth wannabe in WL.

    I'd pick Runaway. I haven't heard Wait in a LONG time.

    I think Jon Bon Jovi is an extremely talented person, but they've really lost any rock and roll spirit they once had. I haven't heard the new album, but the song It's My Life is horrendous. BTW, I think that Ritchie Sambora has a WAY better voice than Jon.

    I really love It's My Life Glenn! If you don't like that song, I doubt that you will like the rest of the album. It's not very good.

    Anyway i'll pick Runaway.

    I still prefer White Lion,
    Although Vito Bratta might be inspired by Eddie, in my opinion he has his own unique sound and style. he has played some brilliant solo's!
    I think that Mike Tramps voice got better and better, especially on the 'Freak of nature' and solo records.

    I am going with White Lions' "Wait." I happened to like a lot of White Lion's material. I enjoy Bon Jovi stuff too but most of it is too sappy for me. Kudos to White Lion's version of "Radar Love." It is better then the original. Also like "When the Children Cry", "Little Fighter", "Tell Me" and a few more. Vito is an Eddie rip off but he is great. In fact, better then Richie Sambora. ( Although he is quite good too.)

    They're both fun tunes. I prefered White Lion from a guitar standpoint though. Bon Jovi? well they're good for a tune here or there.

    Well thanks for your posts guys, when I threaded this I was kinda tatered and didn't really know where I was heading with it. I mean I guess these two songs had significense when I was a mini-eyes and for it to spark up so memories for me I guess I was jazzed about n' shit. What it all came down to, now that I have looked at it, is that well for 1 BJ was the pretty influencial I guess maybe you could say and WL was a one hit wonder, if you said that to about WL. At least that's what I think ...

    Wait: I guess the thing was for this song is the dynamics of VB's guitar work. For 1, does any axe player today or in the past have such a kick-ass song while blending acoustic, electric throughout a song? I give him props for that, with a very respectible harmony or chorus Wait sent a chill down my spine back in the day.

    Runaway: Kicks-ass all the way through except the very ending where he raises his voice to a pitch that sounds like someone grabed his balls or something? lol ... The solo was really vintage sounding too which was a plus.

    I gotta call even on this one ...

    Welcome to the Links PM. Strange that your first post on a VH site would be about Bon Jovi though. Oh well, enjoy! This place has some good folks.
