I worked the Creed show last night at Cox Arena, which is on the San Diego State University campus.

It's a show I've been waiting a long time to see since returning home last year. I'm one of very small Creed fans in this forum, so I actually enjoyed myelf. The opening bands were "Cinder" and "Oleander". Sevendust were originally scheduled to play w/Creed, but had to drop off the bill because last night's show had been rescheduled from an earlier date.

The Cox Arena is built to hold 30,000 people, or so their statistics claim, but when the show went on sale a little over a month ago they had decided to reduce the attendance to 3/4 of the arena, moving the stage up a bit on the floor, and making the floor GA. Well, not even that helped in the sales department. By the time Creed hit the stage last night, there were A LOT of empty seats.

Other than that, it was a really good show, and would've been better if Scott Stapp had slipped out of his Bono suit and decided to quit talking so damn much in between songs. I've also realized he has 3 voices; his singing voice, his interview voice, which is that geeky, nasally thing, and his "talking to the audience voice". Suddenly, his voice got about 10 levels deeper than what I've heard in interviews, and he felt the need to make himself sound important.

Most of the material was from all 3 albums, and they didn't play "Riders On The Storm" or "Roadhouse Blues" as I was hoping for. No covers of anything at all.

    Cinder and Oleander sucked.

My sister said she went to the Creed show in L.A. on 10/20.She said it was packed,he looked like he was in great shape and stuff, but i dont know if she's saying the truth, they showed him in this interview and he looked so pudgy, how did he look in concert?
The question is not, "Does love exist?"
But when she leaves, where she goes?
I got the feelin' she don't know either
Wait like the wind, watch where she blows

Nope. Got a nice guitar pick that's pearl in color with the band's logo and some kind of weird design on the other side.

Found it lying on the floor before the show started, and before we let the crowd inside the venue.

From what I saw, he's cut his hair, but that's about it. My back was to the stage for pretty much the entire night.

Seen them last month in Houston. The place was sold out. Damn good show. It was good to see an arena rock band do so well.

    Cinder does suck....they suck bad.
