Just got home from the Aerosmith concert in Mountain View , Ca . Great show check out the first three songs:
Toys in the Attic
Back in the Saddle
Same old Song and Dance
Killer , alot of other classic to , Walkin the Dog , Movin Out , Train Kept a Rollin , Mother Popcorn , Sweet Emotion , Let the music do the Talking , Draw the Line and of course Dream On and Walk this Way . The band was just as tight and rockin as they were when they cleaned up in `88 , Great Show .

Sounds like they had a good set. Did they play very many of their newer piles of steaming dog crap (songs)? My favorite 'Smith song is Eat the Rich. Yeah, it's not an older classic, but it rocks, and has attitude. My friend and I used to drive around, well after this song (and that album) had lost its popularity, and we would both beltch as loud as we could at the end, with our windows down, pissing off the other drivers.

Kid Rock opened and I couldn`t get into it , I respect the guy but I`m not a fan . But thousands of other people were digging him so he must be doing something right .

Some of 80`s 90`s stuff they played:
Livin on the Edge (cool)
Love in an Elevator (went to take a piss)
Cryin (would have much rather heard Last Child)
What it Takes (cool)
Dude looks like a lady (pretty cool)
Jaded (the girls in the crowd loved it)
I don`t want to miss a thing( Damn it why couldn`t they have played Mama Kin but again the girls loved it)
Joe Perry also did his traditional rockin blues thing which was very cool

Damn right , Aerosmith are older than VH but they`re not showing it espcially Joe & Steve , Brad dosen`t move on stage but he can play the hell out of his guitar.

I can't believe these guys are STILL on tour.

'Just Push Play Tour' started in Hartford in the spring of 2001. They must be making some serious $$$.

I'm not a huge fan of theirmore recent tunes, but considering some of the turds they've churned out since Pump, this ain't a bad selection! I could definately do without J-J-J-Jaded and I don't Wanna Miss a Thing, but the rest wouldn't be too bad at all, IMO. The early nineties stuff was my introduction to Aerosmith, and my first tast of real rock n' roll, so I guess I've got a soft spot for tunes like Livin' on the Edge, Love in an Elevator, Cryin' and a few others... never could stand What it Takes though!

Sounds like an awesome time!

Well, that's better than if they'd done Hole in My Soul! I HATED that song! it was so overblown! I only like a few tunes off that album... Fallin' in Love is Hard on the Knees, Taste of India, Nine Lives and maybe Attitude Adjustment. Pretty boring stuff. Nowhere as bad as Just Push Play though...!
