Heres what I got to report from my so far unproven but still holding out hope source.

Eddie is getting back to normal (health wise, sometimes I wonder about his brain), and so is Alex who was having some sort of an ailment of his own but not cancerous like his brother.

Slowly it appears that the guys are now getting their shit together and have decided on a lead singer (not known who, but I think we have a good guess) and are "expecting" to release a new album by the beginning of April, 2002. And tour all summer and fall before going right back in the studio and keep the ball rolling for a couple of years ala Metallica with "LOAD" & "RE-LOAD" a few years back.

I just poured a whole container of salt over my shoulder so thats how I'm taking it.
Hopefully things move faster than that, especially with past reports claiming that album was complete. So thats the latest.

    Peace:

    No problem.

But I'll believe Van Halen is doing anything only when I hear for myself, I am just saying what I heard, and I don't necessarily believe it. But this sounds most logical right now.

I am starting to not really care about VH anymore and have actually started listening to top 40 lately becaus most rock these days sucks, and sounds the same.

Thanks Eddymon. But, as I read it, I kept thinking of "things can and will change on a dime". That I guess would be an ideal senario, although I don't understand why it would take them that long to release soemthing if they have "3 albums worth of music recorded".

Folks, there is nothing logical when it comes to Van Halen. I'll take this info with a grain of salt. Although one thing about the info, at least VH is getting back to normal releasing a cd every three to four years

Time will tell, Eddymon. Hopefully, we will be able to go to www.van-halen.com and see something under the NEWS section besides Golf Articles and Wolfgang updates.

Thanks for info Eddymon...if Van Haklen ever is resurected from the ashes they will owe you a debt of gratitude for keeping hope alive. A little bit of $$$$ should be involved there as well, just watch yourself if Ray is still in picture.

You can't be serious here. That crappy song with all the whining and yodeling where she says something along the lines of "blah blah blah blah blah I'm in love with YEEEE-OOO?" This ghetto queen should last another few months or two and then be gone IMO.

But like I said a while back, I am now dealing with a different source.
and I never had to take out for dinner. Man my wife would have been pissed.

All this seems plausibe given that we haven't heard shit about Alex since Gary left/fired

Van Halen is giving a great impression of not being a band now, and VH3 is a horrible cd. Pretty good comparison really
