...looks like MJ, BWL & myself will be the 3 hardy souls to carry the gospel of the 'DLR Band' album experience to the unwashed, uninitiated masses...

I swear I have been listening to this cd constantly for the last 4 years. It is the only cd in my collection that is starting to show signs of wear and tear, a few scratches are visible - but it plays perfect. It can only be coz of the amount of times I'm playing it - coz I keep my cd's is pristine condition.

My absolute fave songs are the first 7 + Weekend.. and the AMAZING!!! Black Sand. But recently I'm really getting into WAWAZAT!! - and I love it when an tune suddenly grows on me like that.

Its by far Roths best since EEAS, and it may be my fave Roth album of all time, including his VH work!!!! (I've just posted the same comment over at the Army)

Song is ok, but Dave's attempt at some Robert Plant-ish thing vocally is so out of his range and ability at this point, he should have left that alone. Also I hate that dumb Rage Against the Machine rip-off guitar break. Drums are cool, main riff has good swing to it.

I love this album, "Blacksand," "Tight" "Weekend with the baby-sitter" "Blacklight" and the rest of the songs are great. It's too bad Van Halen did not get back with Dave in 1996 and use these songs as the next Van Halen album. Imagine if Ed had played a solo on "Blacksand"? Oh, what if....

If DLR Band had Van Halen written on the cover, it would still be in the charts today!
