How jealous of that kid were you back then? Lol... I sent in a ton of entries to win that thing. Remember the white Ford Mustang they gave to that kid, too?

Nice :thumb: .....I remember when they interviewed that kid thinking what an undeserving punk he was, he said some things that totally exposed him as a bandwagon fan. 'course...I coulda just been jealous or 'sumptin.

I uploaded it. Check out all of the videos I've uploaded there. I go by fenway5150 over there.
But the credit goes primarily to Brett. I believe he is the one who put up that DVD on jamtothis.com. I just wait for him to upload the torrent and I take it from there. He has a bunch of stuff he shares with us over there.
I'm working on the Dave era stuff on YouTube and I've gotta get to the Sammy stuff. I have Live Without A Net and the Japan '89 show on DVD so I have to rip some of the tracks in there. Any requests let me know and I'll put it up for you guys.
Brett, thanks again bro! Great stuff.
Again.....check out www.jamtothis.com. Another one to check out is www.dimeadozen.org. You need to get the right software and you're good to go!

Sweet...does that dvd happen to have the raw footage from the original Jump video?
It doesn't. I have the raw footage that they filmed that they used for the Panama video. A lot of it never ended up on the video.

Youtube.com brings great stuff from Van Halen almost everyday.
That's great - at least, we have something to see and listen to while the band stays in a hiatus.
That was pretty cool!
That dude must have been on top of the world after winning that contest!!!

Cool Video, but man ED sounds like sheet. His tone sucks his guitar is out of tune and the playing isn't very good either.

Anyone else notice during Unchained that Sammy sang the line "I don't ask for permission" right in Eddie's face.
I bet a qualified psychiatrist could have a field day with that.
Or, it could be a coincidence.
Good videos regardless.

I love a good Doc Emmett Brown reference. :thumb:
If I could set that Dolorian to go back for one show I'd pick a show from the Fair Warning tour. Take me back to 1981, baby!
I put up Eddie's solo in 95. Take a looky!

OK, I've been a fan of Van Halen since 1981. Lately (with all the crap) I've been wondering why.
This video is an excellent reminder.
Eddie Van Halen touches my soul through his guitar. Simple as that.

holy crap that was excellent!!! compare that to the solo trainwreck (comparing the two) that some of us saw on the '04 tour. Is 95 the tour that he was on the wagon?

Loss of Control video. Studio production too.
It's a trip. Check it out.
Anyone know the story behind this one?

I gotta disagree about this 1995 solo. I think it's his weakest that I've ever seen. Sure it's a little different, but it can't even begin to hold a candle to Live Without A Net.
Am I the only one that hates all that noisy bullshit he does just before he breaks into Cathedral? Do we really need that? He did all the time and it made me crazy.

If this post is serious, it shocks the hell out of me.
I think there is a lot of "noisy bullshit" in the LWAN solo as well. Regardless, it still sounds fuckin cool.
