I don't know what aspect you're talking about...and I certainly don't see any similarities. Of course...didn't their rumoured reunion blew up in their faces...didn't it? If that's what you mean...maybe if you're comparing it to 1996....but certainly not now...

Yes have reunited and toured together in recent years...

I see no similarities whatsoever, except that they both play music.

I don't even own anything by YES and anything that I have heard don't impress me . I say no comparison really IMO

You see...that's my point. Unless there is something going on that I don't know about...there really isn't much to compare. I will just say that the Van Halen situation is extremely unique in that they are really the only rock and roll band to switch mainstream singers with not just success...but the Monster success that they have. AC/DC did it...but under different circumstances.

The VH scenario is certainly uncomparable...

I like a lot of Yes's stuff, but I fail to see much similarity between Yes and Van HALEN or Van Hagar.

Also Yes, hasn't just changed singers, they have changed every member of the band at least twice. Actually the singer (Jon Anderson) was on every album except one.

They BOTH are incredible bands...

ED6150 I tend to disagree with you. Yes is an incredible band. Especially the early stuff with Bill Bruford on drums. The only similarity is both bands have tremendous backup vocals and harmony.
