OH WHY does the biggest and most popular threads always seem to take shits after 25 pages? Do the UBB people know about that and have explanations by chance?

Seen I think I saved the NBA thread. I changed the amount of topics on a page, seemed to save it.

cool man, but still, ALL of the bar threads can be used as example, two beautiful girls threads, the uff thread and the best cover song thread can be cited as examples.

ok, I saw the last page of the big nba thread, replied, and then it went white. Looks like it broke again. smilies/frown.gif

Well I finally know WHY this is happening, but don't know if it can be fixed. smilies/frown.gif Apparently there are resource limits on this shared server we use, so that when large processes need to take place, like building a lot of thread pages, the process is terminated before it finishes, due to the limiters. I contacted our host to see if they could raise the limit. But who knows if they will.

I could make more topics appear on a page, but eventually even that will cause the thread to not function at some point. So it's really only a temporary solution. Of course if I could afford a dedicated server, this wouldn't be an issue, but alas it is.

Will keep you up to do date with my progress today.

Finally, an answer to the mysterious problem...

I was beginning to think it was a UBB thing, since another UBB board I read has essentially the same problem.
