I'll be there! :D
We're actually gonna be camping by the Lake up there and saving $$$ on a hotel room.
There's supposed to be quite a few of us Redheads invading this campground and it looks like it'll be a par-tay 'On The Beach'! LOL!!!
We're going from 8/11 through 8/14.

And you????

JA :)

I'll be in Ta-ho, but not going to the show.

I just wanted to know which of you redhead sons of bitches took my usual suite @ Harvey's Sat nite.

Since yer the outdoorsy type of chick, yer off the hook, Jeannette.

I just bought my tickets this afternoon for his 8.11 show at Harrah's Rincon Resort here in San Diego. Hopefully, Sam's statement of Montrose playing with him that date will hold true.

The service that provided the tickets, TicketWeb, was waaay better than Ticketmaster. Prices were $80 for reserved, and $60 for GA, with only an $8.50 surcharge total for *both* tickets. Total came to $168.50.

Searching for tickets/seats was better, too. It gave you a 10 minute time limit on selecting your seats and entering your personal info for online purchasing. And, if you didn't like the seats that popped up, it allowed you to refresh without having to enter a stupid password each time. When I called their info line, the operator picked up immediately. I was very pleased with how they worked everything. I almost did the $200 VIP seats, but those were sold out.

I shudder at what the surcharges and fees would've been had Ticketmaster been the agency handling this show.

I have tickets to go to the show. It's only a 500 mile drive :)

Jeanette, what are the campgrounds like there? Camping might be fun on the trip as well.

Not sure what the sites are like. Never camped at the lake itself before. Some friends of ours that live up there reserved them for us. They said it's right by the lake (just acrossed Hwy 50 actually) and according to them, the sites are awesome!

I have, however, camped along the Truckee River at a spot called Goose Meadows. That place was simply awesome! We camped there for a week last year. It was the third time my hubby has camped there as an adult. (He went with his bro two times.) His folks used to camp there a lot when he was a kid.

Gotta reserve spots way in advance though. Sites fill up quickly. In fact, last week I heard that most, if not all, of the campgrounds in the area up there are already booked for this summer.
Bring your sleeping bag and gear and you can probably cop some real estate with us there! LOL!

I went to the shows two months ago in Tahoe, but I can't make it this time since I'm committed to Iron Maiden in Washington.

I might just take you up on that offer, Jeanette :) I'll be pulling enough strings logistically/financially just to make it up there!

Charger, how were the shows?

Shows were great. Averaging around 3 hours...and I got to meet Michael Anthony...only problem is I drank too much that weekend.

Wow. I can't even begin to imagine paying that much money to see Sammy Hagar at this point.

I know, Matt, but the only reason I'm going is because of the Montrose reunion. I really didn't have any plans on attending until he mentioned this on that audio snippet posted at www.blabbermouth.net a few days ago.

Sam is doing a similar gig back east, and the top ticket price is, are you ready for this.....$17.00!

I'd like to know when he's going to come back for the "free" show he promised everyone at Blockbuster Pavilion in Devore, California on May 3 2003?
