Jump had more energy and it looked funner too. VH at full strength, IMO.

This is an apples and oranges question for
me. I think both are great in their own ways. "Jump" was simple, fun and vintage Van Halen. "Right Now" sent out a message (or many messages). I haven't seen a video like that since. Probably cuz MTV doesn't play many videos. If I had a choice, I'd pick
"Jump" because I was an impressionable

IMO Right Now has a pretty strong message, while Jump is just a goofy video. Just my opinion!

And that's why I go with "Jump" - I don't want VH to be a message band - got enough of those. Now if "Right Now" was the same concept, but with all funny "Right Nows" (Right Now Eddie's thinking "that Rick Cerone guy who sings that "More Than Words" song sounds pretty good"), then I'd probably pick it. But "Jump" is what it is - a fun band seemingly having fun!
