I know wich ones you're talking about, but wasn't there another song off Diver Down?
Ice Cream Man and Could This Be Magic.

No, that's Eddie playing on Diver Down.

Also Dave plays harmonica on The Full Bug on the Diver Down album.
Ice Cream man and Full bug intros....I also think Dave might play on Angel Eyes....2 guitar parts are on Angel Eyes and when DLR was with VH Eddie hardly played 2 different parts. So it might be 3 songs DLR played on.

Ice Cream Man, Could This Be Magic, and Full Bug all feature Dave on acoustic guitar. Full Bug also has Dave on harmonica. I don't know about Angel Eyes, because it sounds like two guitars, but Eddie could have overdubbed them.

Ice Cream Man and Could This Be Magic.
The intro to "The Full Bug" is definitely Eddie, it's a bit too "good" for Dave. No offense DLR.

There is a super cool song called "Real Go Getter" off of the "Rules are For Fools" bootleg that has Dave playing and singing. The lyrics are hilarious.
"Well she's a real go getter
in her tight red sweater
Looks like there'll be some drivers
inside your pajamas tonight
But don't look at me and tell me
'Dave, that ain't right'"

That's a cover, I think the song is actually called "79th And Sunset."

Now somewhere I have an interview with Ed, and he talks about Dave doing the intro to Full Bug on acoustic. I'm debating now on whether or not to dig out my mags to find it. If you guys are like me, you have a closet full of the damned things, and it's a chore to find exactly what you're looking for unless you remember exactly what mag it's in.

Brown Sound ..I have an attic full of guitar magazines..so you are going to have to go digging..but I am sure DLR is playing the acoustic intro to the Full Bug. Eddy only plays the electric guitar parts of the song on the album version of the song.
Angel Eyes may have Eddie overdubbed..but isn;t it different for Eddie to overdub his rhythm guitar? Back then didn't he only overdub rhythm on his solo's.... (usually)?
Yeah, "79th and Sunset" is a Humble Pie cover song. Sometimes it's known as "Real Go Getter" or even "Cookie Box"

Over at amazon.com there is a Humple Pie CD called "Rock On" that features 79th and Sunset. It's an import, so it's about $26.
Are we sure that "Angel Eyes" isn't just a demo?? Are we sure the version out there is the actual album recording?

Brett, are you saying that there is more than one version of Angel Eyes? I thought the only version was from the 1973 demo. I know they thought about doing it for VH II, but did they actually record it then also?

I'm like you folks, I just thought there was only one version of Angel Eyes.

I've only heard one version of Angel Eyes. Has anyone heard the Stairway To Heaven Bootleg? Redfire and i were debating who the singer was the other day. It sounds alot like Plant. I dunno help please. Also, was scrolling thru napster and two versions of VH stairway pop up one that is like 4:36 which is the one redfire has, and one that is like 8:01 or something and everytime I try to download it the user jumps offline. If anyone uses napster, you know you can see when someone is copying one of your mp3s. If its any of us here, PLEASE STAY ON SO I CAN GET IT DOWNLOADED! Little help with the stairway thingy guys please!

Nope I've only heard the one version of "Angel Eyes," and definitely doesn't sound like professional studio quality.

In 1982, during the Diver Down tour, Dave played the intro to "Full Bug" live on acoustic.
On what dates did Dave play the acoustic intro to Full Bug?

I don't think he ever did it live, at least I never saw him do it live.
