June 29th at the Gorge in George! This is the final show listed!

Whose going to be there?

The last Seattle show had the likes of Chelle, Guitar Shark, Diamond D, and yours truly!

I'm bringing another gang from the Great White North down for the concert! Let me know if your going, and maybe we can plan a meet.

I'll bring the JD, but its up to the Sammy fans to bring the Cabo Wabo! I actually look forward to meeting the Sammy Fans and getting into a friendly debate or two!

Sign up here for the Washington State show on June 29th!

Are you going to make an appearance at the Sam & Dave show? I have a feeling it won't be pretty if you end up sitting beside a few Sammy fans!! ;) tongue.gif

The odds of me going to the Gorge show are very good. The only thing that might prohibit it at this point is if I take vacation in June and catch the tour elsewhwere, in which case I would be broke by the time I got back home. But that's a big "If" at the moment.

I'll be going to the Dallas show and possibly the St Louis show. They hopefully will fit a LR date in too. Don't think I can plan to go that far this year due to work being too hectic.
Not that I wouldn't mind knocking back a couple of Guinesses with the fine folks in the Pacific Northwest again sometime in the future! Cheers!

Keep your eye on the ticket sales. They go on sale a week from today on the 27th for online sale. Go to this link ticketmaster for the gorge (https://ticketing.ticketmaster.com/cgi/purchasePage.asp?event_id=F00349287F53572&event_code=EGW0629)

Ok everyone I need your help!!

I need to get about 150$ by th 27th for tickets and gas and grub!

Please help figure something out! I'm only 18, my dad wants to go but he's got some money problems himself!

This is for real! This is a once in a life time concert! Please help me!

Thanks everyone!

I don't know about Ozzfest...everytime you get Ozzy late in a tour, he's pretty much shot. But, for the guys, you can watch painted boobies. LOL

I'm SO hoping Rush will play the Gorge! I missed the Test For Echo tour.

Anybody got any Ticketbastard tips? What way do you guys think is the best way to buy tix? I'm definitely spending the 65.65 for the good seats...especially when the GA tix are 50..not much of a price difference.

Buy them online and get a friend to try it on a different computer. Stay in touch and see who can get the better seats the fastest. Ticketmaster is notorious for the site jamming up during the peak hours. I've lost tickets before because their damn servers couldn't process my order in 5 minutes.

damn, the ones here in the Cleveland area do Ohio, PA, KY, Indiana...they may not have seating charts in their little binders, but they sell out of state tix. i thought all TM's could. learn something every day...

Another thing about standing in line is people with cell phones calling TM while standing in line. Drives me nuts. LOL

Then again, I don't buy mass produced Bud/Miller/Coors shit either.

However, I did find that the cider beverages up there are much better (BC Growers Granny Smith Apple Cider - highly recommended) and the Hard Lemonade & Hard Ice Tea drinks are actually hard, containing vodka and not just glorified wine coolers like they are this side of the border. And for some reason the Guinness on tap up there seems better. So if you can smuggle a keg of that across the border, that would be cool :D

I tried for 3 fucking hours yesterday, using 5 different credit cards and three different PC's to buy tix online, and everytime I tried, Ticketfuckers reported error's on the cards!!!

Needless to say, as I tried, the distance from the stage kept getting farther, and farther, and farther, creating a sense of "do i want to drive for three days to watch Dave and Sam through binoculars?" And that's if i can get a credit card to work for me.

There was even and American Express that I used!!!! 2 Visa's and two MC's!! All had room on them!!! FUCK!!!!!!!

graemlins/bounce.gif Is your radio station running ads for the show? I have yet to hear anything on KISW about it, even though it's listed on their website. KZOK briefly mentioned yesterday morning that they were having a ticket contest, but I haven't heard ads there either. And both of them have been running fucking Eagles ads all week. This should have sold out as quickly as the Detroit show did, except people probably don't KNOW about it

Yep..we even did a "Win 'em Before You Can Buy 'Em" week for Sam and Dave. I haven't heard Eagles ad on ANY of the stations, including ours. The Eagles and/or HOB aren't giving radio stations "comp tickets" for giveaways, the money grubbing bastards. I'm sure they (HOB)didn't buy spots in the Spokane market because we're "too poor"..and I'm serious. They didn't buy Who spots either..apparently they don't want our money. LOL

My guess on the Sam and Dave thing would be it's the end of the month and cash is tight. Or poeple spent their rent money on Eagles tickets. ;)

Not me.

I've never seen the Eagles, and I would like to, but $140 is too goddamn much for a band that hasn't made an album in 20 years. I would only make that exception if John Lennon and George Harrison returned from the dead for a Beatles tour.

The tickets I was able to get were pretty good! graemlins/thumb.gif Seventh row, seats 3 & 4.

I also bought the overnight camping ticket and will be arriving at eh Gorge around 12:00 - 1:00.
That way I can stake out a good spot, set up camp, and throw back a few "cold ones" before the show. Also it's a killer way to relax and sometimes fun to just watch all the folks coming in.

Hopefully, I'll meet up with some of you again! I met a lot of you guys at the 2001 Bumbershoot show and the 1999 Yakama Sundome show! Hey seavhfan what section do you have? I might be right in front of you I have row 6 sec A seat 1?

I plan on showing up early so I can get some drinks in me in the parking lot and so I get a good parking spot. I left at like 10Am when I saw motley crue in 99 and got there in about 3 hours so thats what I'll probally do this time. the show starts at 7 so they'll open doors at like 4.

I have section Section "C" 7th row, seats 3 & 4. Sounds like we won't be too far off from where your at? If you want, after you park in the lot, walk over to the Camping area. I'm not sure what camping section I'll be in because it's first come first serve? I'll let you know what I'm driving when it get's closer to the show so it would be easier to find me. For now, I may just take my GMC Yukon XL. It's the same thing as a Chev Sububan. It's a big Metalic Maroon Bus! You can take out the third row of seats and it becoms an instant place to crash inside. I could take my Dodge Dakota Quad Cab too? I can lock all the ice chests and BBQ stuff inside but I would have to use a tent? Either way, lets try to get some of the people in the same section together so we can party afterwards?

I was thinking of some way I could mark my truck with some sort of sign or flag to make it easier to find each other? Does anybody have any sugestions?

Ya, that sounds cool. I'll either be driving a new monte carlo ss or my big red dodge pick up so I woun't be that hard to spot. how much are the camping spots? I haven't looked into it yet. If I drive the dodge I can tow my trailer behind me, and sleep in my trailer.

If anybody's interested, the Punks are still playing in Fife at the Firwood June 21st, and in Blaine, WA(up by the Canadian border)on June 22nd.

Good way to kick off a week of waiting for the show at the Gorge..who knows when the Punks will make it to the NW again!

 :D  :D

I just herd on the radio you can't bring water or anything in to the show, which is hella dick because it's going to be 100 degrees out and we have to pay $6 for a water.

You can bring in empty ones, then fill them at the numerous taps on the site. I guess they don't want people putting vodka in the bottles then bringing them in.
