The remasters are due to hit shelves September 19 and 20. Do you think that Late July is too soon to have a packaged product 2 months in advance? I have no idea because I know nothing about the inner-workings of the music business. Just a question for whoever may know the answer.

I'll try to get some more information tomorrow, when i'm working the ink room i stay very busy and can't get out and roam. OK guys, either this is a REAL big coincidence, this guy is for real, or there is a HUGE conspiracy going against us VH lovers. I was just taking a drive by the Slawterhouse backyard message board, and in one of the topics some dude named 'Oscardice' supposedly got a listing of the tracks for the new album. (I know we've had a LOT of these, but these sound more plausible than the other shit we've heard)
Anyways, he sounded really serious about it all, and explained himself fully, not just a quick post and leave. One of the song's name is 'Saburossa' (or Sabulossa I forget). Anyhow, with Bonn's mention of 'Sabu', that's a real big coincidence, don't you think? Unless their is someone fucking with us here.

I've got a feeling guys, this may be legit. Lots of things are starting to jive as far as rumours are concerned.

Nothing new guys, sorry I tried. No one was even allowed in that room today! That's good tho! That means it's the real deal and they have strick orders not to let anything out. Only the Leadmen were working in that room today....that happens from time to time.....ALWAYS from BIG, MAJOR groups that pay extra for what they call "Special Silence". Van Halen 3 wasn't done like that, but I think the album cover was leaked online way before it come out. I heard while one Michael Jackson album was being printed that they hired guards that watched the whole printing process. Nothing like that has happened while i've worked there, but I have seen albums be printed on the weekends while everyone was off before.
I'll let you guys know something when I know something.

I get pretty excited because of this Bonn thing and it seems like it could be very real - but then a thought hit me about the whole thing:

We haven't heard any confirming stories about a new recording w/ DLR.

Now, in the HISTORY of the music biz - has there ever been an album that was a total suprise when it was released? If this is true, they will release this album without any type of pre-release media coverage. Has that ever happened? I'm asking if any of you might know. Because if it has, it will be even more comfortable with ALL of the rumors floating around. Does anybody know what I'm trying to convey?

Because I still am leaning towards not believing anything until we hear a new single - I still believe that will be the "announcement" we're waiting for.

hey some leg tonight, if you want to, go to the dlrarmy page and listen to the interview when Dave was on Stern, i forget which one but he states for the record that the REAL reason he left in 85' was because or the rampant drug and alcohol abuse in the band. He says he never intended to be some big movie star. He said that was a bunch of crap. There was to be a movie made but that's not the reason. Hear it for yourself.

This is my first post here at VHlinks. I've been reading this site daily for the last few months just savoring every little piece of info on the current state of the band. While I'm almost 99% sure DLR is back with Ed, Al and Mike, the wait for the official word is KILLING me!! We all want this to happen for one reason or another and it's nice to know we can come to a spot like this and voice our opinons, thoughts and gripes with each other. VH was and still a big part of alot of people's lives. They have touched us all in one way or another in each one of the bands incarnations. I think the band knows that and will do their best not to let us down!

I'm a major fan of this band as is everyone else.(for the most part).I enjoy everyones opinion. As long as they don't spit on VH. Hell, if someone takes a swipe at me, fine. I can take a punch. I'll try to find out why.
I've read sherman's posts and now bonn's and they are a great read I take them as face value and that is what they are. But to put them down because you don't agree is wrong. Your stepping in dog crap. What happens when you step in dog crap? It smells and you have to get it off you shoe. That's not easy to do, is it? You try and try, but it just stays there. Same thing here. You bring negative crap and it stays with you becuase thats how people read you.
These guys are just giving us some hope. That's all. So what if you think they're full of crap. They are just fans with information or a fantacy. If it is a fantacy. So what? It doesn't hurt the band. If it hurts you then there is somthing wrong. You need another hobbie. Hobbies are fun. Not stressfull. These guys are fun. and I appllaud them for what they are doing. They get our juices flowing. And they know it. That is very intelligent.IMO.

There's nothing odd about that. Plenty of folks choose not to make their addresses unavailable.

The CD sleeves will have to be printed at some point. They'll have to press the discs. The single will be sent out to radio. The CDs will be loaded onto trucks, to go off to distributors.

I think Bonn's post is very legit. There are only a few (4 to be exact) major label printers and WB happens to own their very own: "IH". No, their facility is not in LA though they do have offices there and of course in NY. Yes, now is defintly the time to be printing a September/October release. I would expect them to make/ship a minimum of 1.5 million to start and to go up incrementally from there. Don't bother to ask me how I know this, let's just say experience.

I hate to say it, but this is starting to look a lot like the guy over at Slawterhouse who posted a track listing and then disappeared. Bonn, do us all a favor and post very simply once a day. If you hear or see something concrete, post it. If not, just a phrase will do, such as "nothing new".

When you start saying things like, "Some younger guys were talking about the title" or whatever it was that you said, it starts to feel like you're just pulling the proverbial chain (or in this case, hundreds of chains).

I'd like you keep posting, but just keep it simple. I'm not really that interested in all the responses (no offense, everybody) to your posts, just your updates. A few words will suffice...

I was talking to my friend in the office today, asked him when the new VH album was gonna be released and he said "must be pretty soon.....they're really pumping out the inlays!" I also asked what the art work looked like but he wouldn't spill the beans on that one ( I knew he wouldn't, but it was worth a try ). And about the Remasters......I don't work at that plant.
