Hell yes my brotha! Jerret is super cool, if you know what I mean. Jr. is still, well, jr. So he needs to pay his dues. I was hoping him and Adam could get a rivalry going, but that was shitty to what happened to Adam. Not cool at all. I can't imagine what the Petty family is going through. Not a Stewart fan at all, but comming from the dirt tracks, I'll give him some slack. Texas Terry is super cool, and I wish he had a better team. I could go on about raceing, but this is a Van Halen site. Drop me a line Ed6150 anytime and we can talk Nascar. Later man. Out.

I make my living as a marketing exec. in the NASCAR world. Worked for International Speedway Corp. (ISC...owner of Daytona, Talladega, Darlington and 10 or so other tracks) for 2 years in the Daytona HQ. My office was right across from the speedway...it was very cool.

Just started a new gig as the head of the motorsports division of a well-known marketing company outside NYC.

Cool to find some NASCAR/VH fans.

Texas Terry doesn't have a good ride? C'mon it's a Hendrick team! Terry won a championship with that very same team. And please don't give me the "Gordon gets all the money" line. I like Terry--it just seems that he lacks the aggressiveness that the guys that are winning have. Plus--he's still a respectable, though not great 11th in points. It is too bad about Adam Petty, but don't worry about JR not having a rivalry---Kenseth is just as good if not better than Lil' E, and will give JR all he can handle for the next 10-20 years.

I'm a newborn fan. I watched a couple races last year, but this year I've gotten hooked! Stewart is my favorite driver so far, but that might change as I get into this more. With him you either like him or you don't like him. He was rookie of the year last year, plus his hometown is just a couple hours from me, that might have a little somethin to do with it. He's cocky too, I like that. Earnhart Jr. has the baddest car though. Love that Red Monte (that's what I drive) sportin' Budweiser. Its tuff! He's givin those big guys serious competition. Can't wait till tomorrow's race!

Got hooked in 1995 when I lived in NC. Always considered it a redneck sport but once you get into it, its really quite involved. I love watching races and have yet to see one in person.

Next to being EVH I think it would be cool to be a famous NASCAR driver.

I have followed Dale Earnhardt for years & now also Little E. Stevo is right - Kenseth is a very good driver & should build a great rivalry with his buddy Dale Jr.

Thank God that Darrel Waltrip is on his "farewell tour" - he's really just starting to get in the way out there. Don't get me wrong, he WAS a great driver, but it's not there anymore!

I've never been to a race either, but my brother-in-law and me are planning on going to the 2001 Daytona 500 in mid-February. We'll be down there partying with the VH cranked up!!

I was introduced to the sport in 1991 and Alan Kulwicki was my first favourite driver, but after he left us then I picked Mark Martin. Valvoline's leaving his team next year - maybe Van Halen should sponsor him and he could drive a red, black and white striped car - that would be cool. Just hope he doesn't get Viagra - my wife already said she won't hang out with me if I'm wearing a Viagra T-Shirt!

Be the first time I see my new seats that I actually got last year but sold the tickets! Gotta be better than what we had two years ago, even though one of my friends was psyched 'cause he got spray with fluid when John Andretti wrecked!
