I have never seen this discussed on the board so I guess I'll ask, are there any plans to have a chatroom attached to this site any time in the future? This is a great site and it would be even better if we could chat together? How bout it Brett?

Something else that might interesting would be a place to post pics, I have to admit I am curiouse to see what some of you nuts look like. Probally to many members to post pics though, what are there now 1300 or 1400 of us. Maybe there could be a post quota or something, everone over 200 post or something. Of course those of you in the witness protection plan you could obstain.

Bring on the VH chatroom!

There are so many people who are on this forum at once that a chat room would be cool too....BUT...for the people like me who have fucked up hours at work..I wouldn't be able to have a regular time to chat.....I am typing this at 12:10 A.M. my time. I definately think there should be a chat room on this site. Steve Vai's chat room is awesome...sometimes you even get to talk to him. Exciting stuff. It would be awesome to talk to Eddy or anyone from the band if possible( on the interet)

Any time is a good time to chat about VH...

...though it will be a BETTER time when we know EXACTLY what they're up to.

Heres something worth trying (maybe)... theres a program called 'gooey' (nuffin to do with me, just coincidence!)

Anyways how it works is it displays all the people (with gooey installed) that are at a particular web page, and you can chat to them

To be honest guys, I really don't like chatrooms, and I feel like this board is way more useful anyway than a chatroom, while having some kind of chat type features, like seeing who's online, etc. Plus I don't like to host my programs, it would have to be something I can run on the site, and I haven't ever come across a program I would really want to use. There are enough ways to chat about VH anyway, with IRC, FORD's site, I know some other sites that have chat. It's just not something I've ever found value in.

i like steve vai's chatroom. unfortunatly i'm not a big fan of him, i jsut wish that there were a quality VH chatroom.

The only VH chat room I have ever been in was horrible. Every time I said something I had to scroll all the way down the screen and all the way back up. I have been to Vai's chat room as well and I highly prefer it. Like Brett says though, flame wars and off-topic situations do happen there, but then I always go to another room with anyone who wants to chat about something meaningful.

Brett: find out who runs Vai's chatroom..Check it out ..I think you will be impressed. Maybe we can get a chatroom and actually talk to the band. THAT would be cool!!!

awesome idea. it would rule to ahve something like that on any VH site. i think a guy named richard pike runs vai's site. i don't know who does the chatroom.
i hated chatrooms until i went to this one.
