Edward and Valerie met backstage after a Van Halen concert. Anybody know where that concert was, and who Val was with that night?

The concert was in Louisianna, I believe. She was with her two brothers. Her one brother David became Van Halen's personal photographer for awhile after that.

I don't think she was there to met Dave. It's pretty much common knowledge she went for Ed. I saw some Lifetime special about her and they spent some time talking about how it all came about. Did I just admit that I saw a show on the lifetime channel? Oh my God. LOL. Out.

Yo DMAN is the one who said that today was the day for the "big announcement." That's what everyone has been talking/fighting about today. What I said was just a joke to Seenbad. Out.

Going back to the Val-Ed story, I seem to remember that she said that she had ripped the 1980 Guitar Player cover of Ed from the magazine and put it on her bedroom wall. So I don't think she was there to see Dave at all.

Val was never in to Dave. Val admitted she had a huge childhood crush on Elton John. Her brothers were huge Van Halen fans and after seeing Edward on the back album cover of her brothers copy of Women and Children First, Val thought Ed was amazingly hot! She had to meet this guy. She actually made the arrangements to meet Ed and went with her brothers to the Louisianne show. It just so happens that Dave was the first one she was introduced to because Ed was still in his dressing room after the show.

That's they way I heard it too. It was funny to see the poster of Elton come down of the bedroom door on One Day at a Time and be replaced with the poster of the back cover of WACF, right about that time.
