So many Ozzy fans! I remember Ozzy at the US Festival coming out in voodoo outfit, very cool! My only problem with Ozzy live is that he stands at the Microphone stand, takes the mike, walks to the right, then to the middle again, then walks to left, and back and forth. Anyways, nothin wrong with Ozzy but just never cared for him live.
My top:
1) Diamond Dave
2) Rob Halford
3) Robert Plant
4) Freddie Mercury
5) Sammy Hagar
One of my all-time-favorites that might not be included in this type of list is Bono!

I think Ozzy Osbourne, without Sabbath or Rhodes, is dogshit. I lunge at the radio when any "song" of his pollutes the airwaves. Have ya listened to the guy speak? He is an idiot.
1.Elvis Presley
2.David Lee Roth
3.Mick Jagger
4.Robert "Percy" Plant
5.Mark Lanegan
5 1/2. Jeff Buckley

Come on Loons, you can't deny the impact Ozzy has had on rock n' roll.
The guy is just hilarious, though. Anyhow, this wasn't a forum to bash the frontmen of rock.

1- Elvis--the dude that started it all
2- Mick Jagger-- those nights watching Tina Turner in the wings paid off for this guy.
3-David Lee Roth-- the guy some of you are soo scared of because he's dangerous,,(see 4 and 2 for more danger)
4-Jim Morrison --his band mates use to get freaked when Jim did his thing on stage,,, but i bet they would LOVE to have him back to do it again.
5-Johnny Rotten--spawned a whole new style of music and gave the dinosaurs a run for their money. punk rock would soon just become anothe part of rock and sure as hell beats bob seager any day of the week

This is a difficult question when you consider singing ability, personality, showmanship, etc. I just noticed that I all the guys I picked play and sing at the same time. I guess you could give points for that, too.

2. Ozzy Osbourne
3. Steven Tyler
4. Freddie Mercury
5. Jim Morrison
I was never alive when Morrison was fronting The Doors, but from what I've seen on video he was awesome. No theatrics. No pyro. No nothing. And in my opinion, with him just getting up on stage and doing his thing, that's what made him great. Ozzy....man, I've never seen anyone control an audience like him, ever. Steven Tyler been in the band business since the 60's, so if there's anyone out there right now that knows what they're doing, it's him. Freddie? Words escape me.
Which finally brings me to Dave.....do I need to say anything more? I didn't think so.
