I didn't know that Van Halen ever covered Come Together. I think Sammy may have done it live solo or at Cabo w/o Van Halen, but I didn't know that Dave and the boys covered "Here come ole flattop..." I have that show on tape but like a Fool I recorded from a record at the wrong speed(too fast) but I plan on getting the gig on cd anyhoo. I know Van Rothin covered Twist and Shout. And Dave did "I've Just Seen A Face" live acoustic with EAS band. I know that Soundgarden did a sweet version of "Come Together" and "Helter Skelter." I really want to hear It's Your Thing by classic VH. From Afar is one of the worst songs ever waxed. VH III was dogshit.

So From Afar,do you have Van Halen covering,"Come Together" on tape? How could they leave that off Merry Melodies? I was tryin' to figure out what tunes Mike Anthony sang the encores at some show in '88 so I went back to this thread. Apparently I was really disgusted about Van Cherone at the time,too.
How is Greensborough '81? I have Providence '81 and Cleveland '81 and they are incredible!!!!!!
