Did TK mean the official Van Halen site? Or the DLR site?

A couple weeks does coincide with the rumor of a new van halen single in mid august. Who knows.

Doens't "TK" usually just communicate with a bunch of double talk and after you hear a rumour from TK, aren't you ususaly more confused after you have read it?

Yeah, well the message may be somewhat clear and plain, the fact is that TK has been wrong before.

Yes indeed.....for a long time I basically just read and didn't ever post. Well, occasionally, perhaps.

Anyway, my point is that the rumours tend to fit into a sort of pattern. When Sammy was still a logical candidate, he showed up in the rumours. Now, at a logical point to be ready to release an album, we've got "new single" rumours popping up all over the place.

It just seems more than coincidence. The new stance by TK might really mean that something is about to happen.

What kind of idiots move a post from Daves official internet spokespeople to the rumor mill?

To say that TK has been wrong before is vauge and petty. I remember when Brad stated that Gary was still in VH and not a few weeks later it was announced that he left.....does that mean Brad is not 'in the know' of course not. Plans change, unforseen shit happens... if Dave went after some internet sites and asked them to remove material..(like the old dlr army) dont you think he'd go after people who listed themselves as "the official website" ??

I'm really torn with this issue. I have been acquainted with TK for several years or three now and have always found them to be very entertaining and very friendly. They always answer my questions with a thoughtful response...not always serious but thoughtful. I do, however, have my doubts as to how much they are actually "in the know". There is no doubt in my mind that they are Dave's official web-masters but I have to wonder just how often they are in contact with him and when they are, how much info he actually gives them. I think that maybe he gives them a basic direction in regards to the site and maybe a little heads up as to what he currently has on his plate, at least before the Gary Cherone exit he did anyway. Think about it...how often has the "news" section actually been updated on that site....EVER, aside from the 98 album release? I think TK are superfans, like ourselves, who happened to impress Dave with their whit and web saavy enough to make them his "official" web-masters, since everyone's gotta have one these days. They, he, she, whatever have been very cool over the years and I think alot of him, her, them...you get it. I think Dave tells them what he wants them to know, if anything at all. He might just tell them to just keep it interesting and let them be as colorful as they want to be. What the fuck was all that sand about anyway? What ever came of that? Sure did get us excited. You know what I'm saying? I do know that last summer, the radio around here was hyping its summer rock festival pretty big and Dave was to be on the bill. I wanted to go so bad but TK told me several times that it was not going to happen, that it was just a rumor and there was NO way in hell Dave would be there. I believed them, didn't go, despite the fact that everytime I would turn on the radio I would hear an advertisement for the show with Dave being the showcase. Dave played there alright...he was the fucking headliner and I missed it. Millineum rock festival, Nissan Pavillion in Virginia.
