Any chance of getting seats just as good as the 5-Star/4-Star deals?
Back in 2004 I did ILAA almost all of the 7 shows I attended (definitely not interested in spending like that again).
I expect to attend just one show this tour...and I'm looking at spending around $100 for a ticket, but it better be a good spot and not half the way back. Heck, I just saw RUSH a few weeks ago and paid $89 for a 6th-row seat in the middle...and the show was over three hours long.

I don't think tickets are being sold through Ticketbastard, they are going through LiveNation...

But does Live Nation have walkup outlets anywhere? Or is this tour only available to internet users?

That, I don't know...
Does Ticketmaster have walkup outlets other than the venues still???
I know some of the record stores used to have them but I have seen people buy tickets for concerts in person in years...

I guess a few of the Fred Meyers in the area have Ticketmaster outlets...
Live Nation is online only as far as I can tell...
So Ticketbastard online isn't selling these tickets at all?

I know here in CT if the venue is a Live Nation venue than you can go to that venues ticket window to buy tickets. The Live Nation website will tell you whether or not the venue in your area is a Live Nation venue.

That's what it looks like at this point...

I can't believe Ticketmaster isn't one of the outlets.
Don't even remember that ever happening with any band. Exclusive Live Nation brokerage only?

My guess is ticketmaster will be used. There is going to be a high demand and they will need every outlet possible.

Why would van-halen.com have links to the ticketbastard site if they aren't selling tickets? I think Ticketmaster is going to sell tickets. Notice they just put the Dave-era VH logo up on their site?
Live nation doesn't have ticket prices or anything listed yet. I'll bet Ticketmaster is just waiting for prices before they put up the dates.
Also, Ticketmaster does have retail outlets. I know some Kroger stores in the Cincinnati area have Ticketmaster outlets. You can check here to see if there is a retail location in your area: http://www.ticketmaster.com/h/stateselecttcenters.html?tm_link=tm_retail_header

For Portland, at the Rose Garden both Live Nation and Ticketmaster cover it. I get emails from both for the same shows.
