nope. Sorry. Ed can't stand mike these days, Mike's better off hanging with Sammy.
I think Ed would just cancel the tour.

I agree. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that in order to hedge their bets, Live Nation had VH prearrange for someone to step in should Wolfie falter. LN isn't going to want to cancel a whole tour and the financial penalty to VH would probably be great.
Unfortunately, I doubt that Mike is Plan B and quite frankly, he shouldn't have to settle for being Plan B anyway.

Christ...should this happen, can you imagine the trashing that would befall the replacement-guy, by those given to bashing here at the Links? :wtf: :brickwall

As I said in the other thread like this one, IF Mike were to be asked to step in on the VH tour, he would actually have some leverage with regard to pay, unlike on the '04 tour. But the chances of this happening are slim-to-none. Check that--none.
Didn't see this other thread...
Wouldn't promoters or anyone backing this with serious $ want some sort of guarantee or back up plan? The bassists Dave played with come to mind as a last second back up plan.

Most dates are not back to back, so in most cases he will have plenty of time to regroup.
He has been on stage in front of 18K before so he should be ok there.
Mike's vocals will be piped in, so he just needs to smile.
Val will be tucking Wolfgang in every night by midnight. so, he will get his rest.
