How ironic is it that a guy that plays in Boston has a hole in his heart , and a band from Boston , with a singer that would later front the world's greatest rock band ,recorded a song called Hole Hearted ?

As a life-long Patriots fan, this truly saddens me. Bruschi has consistantly shown that he is a true champion and I hope to God he can return to form, if not for the team, for his wife and children. I have a sneaking suspicion that he will not return to the field but if he can be around to watch his children grow, that's all that matters. Get well Ted!!!! :thumb:

I too am a life-long patriots fan and I couldn't say it any better than this. Tedy is such a class act.

Not a huge Teddy fan , but as a lifelong Buckeye fan , I appreciate linebackers that play the game the right way , like Vrabel , Speilman , and Pepper Johnson . I respect Ted and hope he makes a full recovery even if football isn't part of his future .

Tedy has grown to become my favorite player on the Patriots. And while I would love to see him back on the field, I kind of hope he doesn't. With three rings already and a wife and 3 kids at home I just don't think it is worth the risk. They were talking last night on ESPN about a hockey player, I can't remember his name, who suffered a stroke like Tedy and he also had a hole in his heart which he had to have repaired. This player tried to come back but eventually had to retire because he was having seizures while playing.

I love the Patriots, and Tedy is the most likable guy in the NFL today. He has a big heart even if it has a hole in it and my prayers are with him and his family! I hope they fix him up, hes a great player, the Pats wouldn't be the same without him!
