I have to wash my hands. I play guitar and ya know,you move equipment...you touch things in the bars,you shake strange peoples hands so I like to clean them so I can play.

I've learned through experience that if I smoke weed before a show I have a 50/50 chance of either playing brillantly or sucking ass! Needless to say, I now wait until after the show! Safer that way.

Plus, I have to take off my shoes to play.
