I remember there was a thread about this many months ago. Does anyone know which studio songs were never played live? From checking out the Vhboots website etc, I'd have to say Inside, "Dirty Movies". Did they ever do Top Jimmy live? Anybody got any input into this.

They played Loss of Control on the WACF tour. In fact, they played an early version of Loss of Control at Magic Mountain in 1977.

Did they ever play Big Bad Bill live?

Here are songs I never heard live or on a boot live.. Inside, Push comes to Shove, Dirty Movies, Top Jimmy, Drop Dead Legs, W&CF, Outta Love (I don't remember this on the VH II tour),Big Bad Bill, Source of Infection, Strung Out, Once, From Afar, Ballot or the Bullet, I am sure there are more...

Outta Love Again is on the boot of VH in Fresno on March 25, 1979. Other than that, I haven't seen any mention of the rest of those songs either.

I got a VH 2 boot from the first night in Fresno 79 and they play Outta Love. This whole question is good. I would have to go through my VH Encyclopedia and check the set lists throught the years. Too much work!

I have no idea if it was played at many of the shows, or when it was played, for that matter. I was reading a review of one of the shows years ago, and the guy mentioned how delighted he was that Dave played Dirty Movies.

It's at the bottom of the page. I had posted awhile back how I would have loved to hear "Dirty Movies" live too, but thought that because Eddie plays different guitar parts at the same time, it might not sound good done live. Just a theory....

"Source of Infection" was played on the Monsters tour.. 5-28-88, East Troy, WI.

They never did "Once" or "From Afar" live?!??!? That's blasphemous!

Somebody told me that "Not Enough" was never done live, but I'm not sure.

Not Enough was definately done live. When I saw them in Edmonton, Mike's bass fell to the floor during the quiet part after the solo, which really ruined the mood. Sammy looked at Mike like he wanted to kill him, and Eddie was cracking up.

I can hardly remember what's played at any concert! On the WACF tour, I remember Runnin With the Devil, And the Cradle Will Rock, and Ed's solo and that's it. On III, I remember I'm the One and I could've sworn they did Once, but maybe that was Year to the Day because I'm sure they did that and Fire in the Hole. I'm too busy partying and rocking out and the whole thing becomes a wonderful blur, then I walk out the door and all I know was that I had a great time and want to do it again, like a rollercoaster ride. That's cool. I wasn't sure cause they didn't do it in the concert I saw. That's one of my favorite songs off Balance. I remember them doing Feelin' on the pay-per-view from Toronto.
