If you play Home Sweet Home backwards, the chorus sounds like "please smoke."

My favourite is from a J. Geils Band piece called "No Anchovies Please" off Love Stinks. It is a spoken word piece about a woman who get abducted and there's a line "Upon awakening, she finds herself in a strange, foreign-speaking nation" followed by some foreign sounding gibberish. If you play the gibberish backwards, you hear "It doesn't take a genius to know the difference between chicken sh*t and chicken salad"

What was hilarious was some of the things the record burning preachers THOUGHT they heard back in the early 80's. Supposedly "Hotel California" by the Eagles had the following verse....

Those poor bastards have way to much time on their damn hands. I REALLY get pissed when I read about such crap that some Pastors and Preachers say about this subject. I actually took a class in college about this sort of thing. We heard all kinds of stuff that Kennedy(John), John Glenn, and countless others said. It's all about the pause and breaths etc they take when they speak. What was creapy about it,was that all the back assword shit they said sort of related to their different speaches etc. Wild shit. Their is an expert on this sort of thing, and I will try to find that book. Can't recall his name at this moment. Like ya'll cared about what I just said. LOL. My bad. Out

Yeah the "My sweet satan" shit is cool. I was working at a radio station, doing the overnight shift, and the jock before me spun that part backwards for me. It's safe to say, I was a little jumpy for the next 6 hours!!!!!!!!! I am such a pussy when it comes to the devil, I can't even watch the Excorist!!!!!!!!!!!

When Judas Priest got sued for the subliminal "do its" in the song, Better By You , Better Than Me, the judge had ordered the whole CD be scanned for backwards messages. The first cut Exciter had a backwards message which is pretty funny. Forwards it says..Stand by for exciter, salvation is at hand. Backwards...I asked for a peppermint, she gave me one...Is that too funny??

Also, ELO was big into backwards masking. On the Eldorado album, they referred to several songs with backward messages. When you finally reach the song the are leading you too, it says backwards..." THE MUSIC IS REVERSIBLE....BUT TIME IS NOT...TURN BACK TURN BACK TURN BACK...with this evil sounding demonic voice. Freaked me out when i heard it
