We all know that the remix's are due in late Sept. to mid Oct.!!!
Last night my source told me we should see the new CD in Feb. 2001!! Thats why W.B.keeps saying that =VH= has nothing on slate for 2000! He also said that the rumors about the moderators to keep everyone happy are true! Warner has a lot riding on the reunion and wants it to go smooth! They say it will happen even if for just one tour! No info about the CD itself. I'll update you when I know more!

With this all being true than I still think their is a good chance of the MTV thing. They could go out their and just perform an old song like UNCHAINED or something. That would be fucking cool.Peace out.

Have you noticed the VH is showing up all over the place! Well except for the band!
It is going to happen!! I know it's later than we all want it, but I was so happy to hear it from some one that I can count on!
Oct. is my B-day so it would have been nice but its worth the wait!!!! I'll just check out the remix till then!!!!

I'm not about to endorse any rumor going around. However, the February 2001 thing makes sense for two reasons....

1) February historically is a good month for VH releases. Their first album was released in February of 1978. 5150 was released in Feb 1986. It would bring everything "full circle" in one sense to release the return of Van HALEN at this time

2) A Feb. release date would be perfect to get the album heavily promoted on radio (and possibly MTV) throughout the spring of 2001 and be ready for a huge summer tour.

I would rather they released the album sooner myself, but there would be logic to this plan if it happens. As I've said before, there is no way in hell Van Halen is touring in the middle of the winter.

5150 spent 64 weeks on the charts and reached #1 on the U.S. charts three weeks after it's release.

Y'know,if this whole February release time *is* true,then that would be just killer! Why? 'Cuz I have plans to come home to L.A. in February, and I would love it if they decided to do a few small warm-up dates here and there before the tour officially begins. That would totally rock my fuckin' world!
