He's not exactly in Sammy's band. Sammy and him don't exactly have a side project either (its talk to me-I'm a show me don't tell me guy). Maybe Mike should think about putting something together himself? I'm SURE that if he's not a top notch songwriter, he could pull people together to put something great together. Actaully they do have a side project going called Chickenfoot.

I think Mike is gonna be around. Like LL said, he'll be doin his thing with Sammy. But, Mikey outta just sit back and watch what is left of the band he spent 30 something years in, spiral down. And maybe thank god he's not part of the madness that makes up Van Halen.

I can only imagine that his blood pressure is within normal limits now, being away from Ed.

Mike will continue to play with Sammy as part of THE OTHER HALF as well as any other side projects that they come up with. I think that Mike has hung around with Sammy long enough to understand that music should be fun, performing should be fun and you should be able to hang around with your band mates just like family. Mike is a smart guy, he will now take it easy without any drama.

Vinnie played with Pantera and is Dimebag Darrel's brother. With regards to Mike, I'm not convinced that he is totally done with Van Halen. Let's wait and see what happens at the RRHOF.

Mikey probably never has to work again. He'll just continue to hang out with Sammy and the Wabos and work on side projects.
