were the fixed up demos of van halen?? the tracks are uncredited on the album, if it was vh then i imagine they couldn't contractually release with geffen records and thusly went unbilled.

also- are there demos of the fuck sessions on any boots?

It wasn't Van Halen on the songs, that is for sure. I love High Hopes. That song could have been turned into a fuckin bad ass Van Halen song. I always wondered why they didn't play that one live on the following tours. Ed probably didn't like the lyrics. I haven't seen any FUCK session tapes floating around, but that doesn't mean shit. Out.

I thought High Hopes was pretty lame myself. Buying my Way into Heaven was better. Neither song has any other member of Van Hagar playing on it. The songs were written for Balance, but never recorded by the band to my knowledge.
