I was wondering if Sammy has been on Stern since the end of the tour. I'm sure some of you remember before the tour Howard talked to Sammy on the phone (woke him up if I remember correctly) about working with VH again. Stern was on him pretty good about him must needing the money, I think he even played the show back to him when he said the only way he would work with the bro's. again is if he was broke and needed the money. Also telling him to watch his back everytime he see's the bro's talking to each other, He'll be out if they don't like the color shirt he's wearing. Sammy was saying it's all different, everything is great now, they were just going to forget the past, it's all about the music. Sammy told Howard to come to the show and he'll see for himself. At the end, Sammy even sort of apoligize to Ed for talking to Stern saying he woke him up at 5 in the morning. Stern said something like "see, your already paranoid". Well, like I said, I was just wondering if Sammy has been on the show since the end of the tour.

I dont think he has. I listen pretty religously. Stern and company have brought it up a few times in passing but no iterviews or anything like that.

Well I am not usually one of the first to be apologetic for Hagar LATELY.....
BUT I don't think he knew what he was really in for with Ed's alledged problems of late. I do, however, hope Sam keeps his rhetoric down and (God forbid if it was to cut into his ego) act like Eddie's friend instead of just telling news angencies that "he's not a very fun person to be around". That is if he IS a friend of Ed, or just latching on to Van Halen for the cash grab. If the latter is the case, then cool, roll on Sammy!

You really only get on major media outlets if your pimping something new or have news that is newsworthy. I don't believe the VH camp falls into those categories.

I listen every morning, and Sam's not been on that I recall. Howard has, however, been speculating a lot about whether Dave is going to take his spot when he's gone at the end of the year. He seems to think it's gonna happen.
