Just in time for christmas Sammy Hagar:The Essential Red Collection II. That's right Part two.

Following in the foot steps of the 2004 release of Sammy Hagar:The Essential Red Collection I part two delivers the goods for every Sammy fan. From his Montrose days (Rock Candy). His early solo work (Cruisin' and Boozin'/Turn Up The Music/There Lock Box etc.....). Sammy's work with Neal Schon in HSAS (Whiter Shade Of Pale). To his work with the Waboritas (Serious Juju/Let Sally Drive/Things Have Changed).

This collection like the first is packed with tons of rare stuff that is very essential for every Sammy Hagar fan to have. Like Satisfied the flip side to the 7in of Heavy Metal. Ether and Wash Me Down from the Japanese import of Marching to Mars. And the internet only releases of Code War Y2K with the Greatful Dead's Mickey Hart and iTunes Let Me Take You There with the Wabos. And much more.

How much do you think you would pay for this awesome collection of Sammy tunes. $19.99? $14.99? $9.99. Not at all. The first ten (10) people to send a email to tahoewabo@hotmail.com will get this CD for free. That's right FREE! No shipping and handling extra. NO CATCH. Totally free.

So if you would like this fine CD to ad to your Sammy Hagar collection just send a email. And oh yeah, Merry (early) Christmas.

Forgive me for being suspicious by nature. It's just what I am.

How it is you're making such an offer when RedRocker.com (which is a little better about relaying info to fans than most) hasn't mentioned dick about this?
I'm sorry but I must pry for details.

Cool. To not have Rock Candy on the first album was a huge oversight IMHO.

I'll believe it when redrocker.com tells me the same.

That's fine. Ask what ever you want. It's a CD-R. Not a offical release. You wont find it on redrocker.com or any where else.

I did something like this before. Under the user name freeswilly. The first time I offered up It's About Time when it was first sent to radio stations afew weeks before BOBW came out. I had a pure digital copy of IAT not a bootleg copy from napster. I backed it up with That's Why I Love You. Did the same thing I am doing here. I wanted to do this awhile ago, but did not have the means to do it with.

If there is a dude with the last name of Evans that works for a TV station in Reno still here he will know who I am because I sent him a copy of that CD.

If you don't have any trust in me that's fine. You don't know me and I don't know you. Just trying to do something nice for people. You don't have to send me a email or anything if you don't want to any ways.

Well, hold tight dude.....don't get so sore. While it's cool you wanna do this for the fans, it just came off as kinda weird to make your own sequel to an existing album. Sorry for throwing you the stink eye so quickly. I'm all for sharing great music with the community. Hell, it's what I do too.

Best wishes! :thumb:

I'm not sore at all. I was ready for the disbelievers and nay-sayers. I already got a bunch of hatemail for it. I don't care though. I've got big shoulders. I just thought it would be cool to do a whole add type thing for it. You know have fun with something. Not to much of that these days.

While it is my sequal to a existing album I want to make it everybody's. Took me forever to come up with this final track listing. I wanted to keep all the rare stuff on there.

And yes you do a great job at sharing the tunes. And one more thing. Put the stink eye back in yer head. You look like Pop-Eye.

Thanks for the tip! I'll go throw up now!

Oh, it's a fan promo? Damn dude, you almost made me slam Sam, which would have been totally unwarranted this time!
Please let all assaults have meaning from this point forward. And yes, "Rock Candy" is a bitchin' song. But settle down before my neutrallity tips back the other way again. :p

I have no problem with artists releasing GHs packages or other "goodie" releases. But what's up with Sammy doing this quite a bit in his career? I mean, it seems that almost every song is being re-released on some GHs package. He's better off just releasing a huge box set.

First... record companies do this, not the artist. 2nd... if you read above, it's a fan "releasing" this cd.

20. Let Me Take You There &

& iTunes only release
FYI: This was a pressed CD released to a limited number of fans at concerts in 2005. The iTunes version would be a lossy recording compared to those pressed discs.

I know this was a pressed CD. I have one of the radio copies. It's just easier to say it was from iTunes. Besides it's free. So why would it matter if the sound quality is a little bite off.

No danward5150 that's not bad. But if you look at the one I put together it does have alot of songs that were not on the first one. Plus it has a bunch of rare stuff on it. I just thought this would be cool to go along with the original Essential collection.

Geez, this has to be the only place where people bitch about being offered something free :wtf:

It's not like the dude spammed your personal email inbox pushing a FREE cd. It's just a friendly offer to people who might want it.

Pretty cool thing to do. Good to see fans making things available for other fans. Years ago VH fans hooked me up with some cool stuff I'd never heard (or even heard of) and I've tried to do the same when possible.

How about just making it a PodCast?
