when sam n dave go on tour-

what songs do you think each one will refuse to sing live?

particularly in earshot of each other ?

I hope they both refuse to do "Jump!".

Jump has been on every DLR, Van Hagar, and Van Danniels tour since 1984. The song is hardly their best to begin with. Leave it at home, and then there's NO reason to bring a synthesizer. No offense to Jesse Harms (who has actually worked with both) but.... STAY HOME.

Strange question. I don't think either one of them will do a song that was song by the other. With that, there is no 'taboo' song for each. Would Sammy sing "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love?" No. Would Dave sing 'Dreams'? No.

This is a problem that won't occur.

so you really can imagine sam singing something like 'i'm the one' or 'everybody wants some' ?

???

or dave singing - 'why can't this be love' - now that i'd love to see !

If Sammy plays "Dreams" I might puke.
And I hope he doesn't play "Right Now" but I'm sure he will.

I wouldn't lose sleep if DLR left out "Panama" and "Aint Talkin' Bout Love" but I'm sure he'll play those

Taboo is tricky, but maybe Dave will do "Can't Get This Stuff No More" and Sammy will do "White Lies" as tribute to the brothers 2.

I agree with FORd on this one! Although a "commercial" success, "Jump" (in my opinion) has never seemed consistant with other Van Halen material! Even beyond that, the song has had little appeal to me!
