View Full Version : Roth Advance From Radio
Just thinking:
After Roth settles in and gets an all new fan base built just around his radio show... his future VH knock off gigs might be sold out as opposed to only a few hundred people attending.
The power of the radio reaching 3+ million people might re-invigorate a currenlty dead musical/entertainer career. And maybe make Roth look a bit more appealing to the VH brothers.
Deservedly or not.
Should be an interesting year.

Those poor Ribfest promoters won't have an act to book. Could be the end of Ribfest.

'Those poor Ribfest promoters' will be alright. Maybe they can book Sammy Hagar...if he can break away from his busy loveboat cabo cruise schedule.

It will definitely be interesting to see where Roth's latest adventure leads.
3 million+ daily listeners in morning drive is bound to have an effect on his music performances and awareness.

I love Dave but you are all on crack if you think 3 million people will tune in for more than 30 minutes of Dave's senseless babble. He gets old really fast. Its time to face the fact that he is now over the hill and no longer hip. Let it go.....

Damn, this site if always full of great advice:let it go, move on, get off my sister, quit dealin' from my house, etc. etc. Can't you even wait 'til he gets on the air before you start predicting the future like a fortune teller?

He's way sharper than you give him credit.
I'm excited to see what happens.

3 million over seven markets really isn't that much. and look at the area the NYC market reaches, when you include NJ and Connecticut. Boston, Philly, and Dallas are decent sized markets...the one weak link may be West Palm Beach.
i think Dave will find success here in blue-collar Cleveland, and Pittsburgh, too. not Stern numbers, but decent numbers. his Cleveland station is the highest rated rock station in town, behind the oldies station, some sports talkers, and country and urban stations.
