Next Friday I'll be at the Chicago show. Already getting ready. Here are a few things I'm doing for a night 'o Chickenfun:

1) Made a Chickenfoot playlist with the 3 preview songs and the 30 second snippet songs. Also included are Satch songs, VHI (MA) and VHII (MA and Sammy), Sammy, RHCP (Chad). Also included on the playlist are "chicken" themed songs and "foot" themed songs (i.e. Lord of the Thighs, Footloose, Dixie Chicken, Rooster, Trampled Under Foot, Get on the Good Foot, Chicken Dog, etc.). Gonna crank this playlist until day of show.

2) bought a bottle of Cabo.

3) got a hotel room down from the Park West (see #2).

First Chicago, then I'm on to NY and Philly! Gonna be a Chickenfoot vacation.

What are you guys doing to gear up for the show?

Going to Hollywood show next Tuesday - can not wait!

I'm going to the Vancouver show on Friday, and we're getting our tequila on all afternoon. My buddy lives sccross the street from the Commodore Ballroom, which makes it that much more convenient to stumble to ;-)

I'm with you on the preparation! I got a 5 plus hour roadtrip planned from Pgh to Philly. Aside from VH, Sammy solo, Montrose, etc., I ITuned some RHCP and some Satch (Summer Song, Satch Boogie, Surfing with Alien, The Extremist, Big Bad Moon, I Just Wanna Rock, and If I Could Fly). I'm not too familar with his work (expect SS and SB), but I always loved his sound and those two songs, so I had to research his hits a little bit, plus I added one from his new album.

Lucky bastard. I couldn't get a single ticket (I know I sound bitchy, but Christ, wouldn't you be?)

To all those going to any show on this warm-up, have the time of your lives, and realize that those who couldn't pull through are not only envious as all shit, but also want you all to have the best time ever! :thumb:
