Great song. I love the way it trickles in from Sunday Afternoon in the Park. I think it's a great rockin song and it's so short that how could you not love it.

Yeah, man - "One Foot Out The Door" rules - so much in less than 2 minutes. Van Halen always knew how to end an album!

it's cool that it's short, but nothing does it for me. the music is cool, and the lyrics are cool (i'm listening to it right now), but them together just doesn't work. the music doesn't go with the lyrics. does that make sense?

Great tune. Like so many Halen tunes you can tell Dave wrote this song from personal experience. The story and the lyrics are pure Diamond Dave.

Alex kicked this songs ass!

They way they set it up with Sunday Afternoon in the Park is perfect.

Don the lyrics are about how fast the band had to record the albums at that time.

Eddie's guitar work on this song is great. My first show was 9/14/82 and I was psyched when I finally got to hear Sunday Afternoon...on the FUCK tour? That was the best M Anthony solo I ever saw. Did they play One Foor Out the Door in concert?

It creeped me out the first time I heard "One Foot Out The Door" creeping out of "Sunday Afternoon In The Park."

I love it and think it's way to short. http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/cool.gif

What a fat riff Eddie had going on the synth. http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/biggrin.gif

for me is one on better Roth´s song.

maybe i´m wrong but i think "one foot out the door" is continuation of "sunday afternoon .." from fair warning

One of my favorites off FW (and that's saying a lot http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/wink.gif). Especially love Ed's outro.
