Okay.....here's where we can talk serious about Mikey's mini-empire.

I want to know some things:

Has anyone tried any of the sauces yet, cause I am fixin to order a batch and have it delivered to the Texas Linkers Weekend III this year when I arrive. :bounce:

Has anyone ordered any accessories from the site. If so....take a pic of you wearing it and show us! :thumb:

Anyone get anything from said site signed? Again...pics.

Let's show our support for Mad Anthony not just by steering clear of this so-called reunion, but celebrating his 'off-the-record' endeavors as well.

The Hot Sauce rocks!! It's a got a real earthy taste with no sweetness.

I bought 2 regular bottles and 1 autographed bottle. Also bought the White MA's Hoodie. Very cool and my favorite Hoody! Very good quality for a cheap price. The order took about 2 weeks to get to me. I was really happy with all of it.
Matter of fact need to order more Hot Sauce and will probably try the Barbeque sauce this time as well.

Just now noticed the BBQ sauce as well. I did hear rumblings that BBQ would be a staple at this year's TLW3 so I'm thinking I'll have one of those half gallon bottles sent over too.

And I can think of someone who's gonna look sweeeeeeeeeet in one of those ladies spaghetti strap tanks. :bounce:

Just out of curiosity, what'd ya try it on? I've been prone to put hot sauce on eggs and omelets mostly. Like dippin shrimp in the stuff too.

And I'm dying to try mixing Mike's stuff with the BBQ sauce. The ESPN Zone does that there and the result is muy magnifico! :thumb:

I've tried them all and I'm not a fan of the BBQ sauce. The hot sauce is good, but not as hot as I thought it'd be.

IMO, By far the best is the mustard.

What he said. The mustard rocks. I wish he'd come out with a Dave's intensity blistering hot sauce, one rated millions of scoville units and such. As in red savina evil death will kill those with heart or respiratory conditions kinda of sauce.

I'm a hot sauce enthusiast, much as Paw will attest to, Dave's Insanity is the SHIT....but Mike could cook something up with the Ring of Fire people that could burn your tongue off, if he really wanted, I think. So get on that, Mike. ;) Your hot sauce is good for Mexican food, but you need a real Super Strength ulcer inducer in your line.

I've got plenty of Mad Anthony swag. A FUCK vinyl LP, a Fair Warning LP, and the Looney Tunes red promo LP all signed by Mike, couple of those long sleeve Mad Anthony logo tees, an Other Half tee. He signed several bottles of hot sauce and BBQ sauce for me when he was on the Hard Rock junket in Los Angeles, most of which I distributed to a few pals here at the Links. I think I've got one of those embossed Mad Anthony shot glasses somewhere in the garage, maybe.

Cool. I hear Blair's Acid Rain death sauces are good too, but the tiniest drop will kill you if you don't dilute it just right. :)

Still haven't cracked my private reserve Dave's. Three times as hot as Ultimate Insanity. Too chicken, and it wasn't cheap at thirty bucks for 8 ounces. Paw, you ever get around to opening yours and having a taste?

Now Dave's has a super limited holiday private reserve that's even hotter and pricier. Ouch.

For the Xmas Linkers Gift Exchange, namedmydaughterhalen got me the three pack of the Mustard, Mild Sauce and Hot Sauce... All of them are killer!!! I like mixing the mild version with ketchup to dip my fries in... The mustard goes well with mayo when my girlfriend makes me sandwiches for lunch... The hot is good on my version of sausage mcmuffins...

When I run out, I'm definitely gonna buy more and would love to try the bbq sauce although it'll have to be pretty damned good to top my favorite, Stubbs!!!

I've been on the fence on whether to get the three pack variety or just straight hot sauce for the party.

A definite purchase is the half gallon since we're doing BBQ this year.

Okay, so I finally received some of this in the mail earlier this week and sampled it for the first time tonight, on three different concoctions....pizza, chips and salsa, and a gen-yu-wine Mad Anthony cocktail ala Squalen...two shots of Cabo anejo, one whole squeezed fresh lime, a splash of Cointreau, generous dollops of Mad Anthony's new limited edition black label eXXXtra hot sauce, orange slice garnish and cinnamon lined glass rim (credit to OFOTD).

The sauce is GREAT. Really. Much, much better than the former two proper hot sauces. More earthy and roasted flavor, and a healthy amount of heat, far hotter than the previous 'hot' sauce, thicker and less vinegary too. A big improvement in taste and burn. Nicely done, Mike. Yum. Highly recommended.

Oh, I've got an iron stomach. I can handle Dave's Insanity sauce drizzled over just about anything with not much repercussions, and Dave's is still far more blazing than Mad Anthony's. This new MA stuff was just tasty-burn, didn't even need milk on hand for tongue first aid.

A few college buddies and I used to have habanero eating contests when we partied in Tijuana and Rosarito. Pure raw habanero, washed down with warm Tecate. Now THOSE were some rough mornings. :smokin:

Dave's Insanity WILL kill you, if you've got heart or respiratory problems. especially the limited edition stuff. Really. Like, red savina pepper ten million scoville unit cardiac arrest. It's happened.

Well the long list of scenarios I came up with above will have to wait until I purchase my own personal stash of the stuff, however I was able to partake in the Original Style BBQ sauce and the Original Hot Sauce from the special 3-pack at this year's TLW.

The BBQ sauce had a sweet start, with the peppers coming in about 10 min later for a nice little edge. Not searingly spicy at all for those who are cautious about the fire. Delish on the brisket. Added a nice loose goose to the Shrimp Diablos!:thumb:

The Original hot sauce was a little more active and went well with the chips, but the best use I found for it was sprinkled on some biscuits and gravy Sunday morning at the TLW4 mansion.

I was happy enough with the stuff to decide to order more for my bachelor cave here and try a few more of the varieties. Good stuff Mikey!!!:headbang:

If you find the Original hot sauce is a bit too weak for you, the Private Reserve stuff holds a lot more "kick" in it. Just be careful, as it tends to sneak up on you.

If you use it moderately, it's really not very hot at all. Adds a spicy edge to your tongue after a few minutes, but that's about it. Naturally, the more you use, the hotter ya get. It's very sweet and flavorful besides that. Awesome with beef brisket.
