Most of you prob get these emails but for anyone who doesn't..
Excited for all this to get rolling.
HELLO PEOPLE OF THE FOOT!
We have a few good pieces of news to report hot off the presses! As you know, we are starting to get close to the album release in June, and the first European festival dates. But, here are a few new things that you need to know! We will continue to bring you the latest news direct to your email -- thanks for being part of the growing community we are building!
UPDATED CHICKENFOOT.US visit http://www.chickenfoot.us
We've molted a bit at CHICKENFOOT.US and moved away from the teaser stage into something that makes it easier to keep track of what is going on as we rev the engine towards release date and the first shows. The widget is still front-and-center, and take note of the big link to the OFFICIAL FAN CLUB, which we'll tell you more about in a moment.
Starting next week, we will open up the site for FREE accounts for fans near and far to step up their participation in the community. Once the shows start we'll look to you to share your reviews and photos and stories. We'll get back to you next week about that, but know that everyone on the mailing list (that means you!) will have an account automatically set aside for you. Anyone who upgrades to the Official Fan Club Membership will also have their CHICKENFOOT.US account status upgraded, opening up other features of the site to them, most notably ticket presales.
OFFICIAL CHICKENFOOT FANCLUB click the banner on http://www.chickenfoot.us
We're happy to announce that the OFFICIAL Chickenfoot Fan Club has opened its doors for early registration. Like many other fan clubs, this will be the only way to get access to those early PRESALE TICKET packages for the upcoming US TOUR DATES that will be announced very very soon. The annual membership also comes with a swanky EXCLUSIVE T-SHIRT and an ONGOING 10% DISCOUNT for anything you should wish to purchase from the store (which will be opening for business soon).
How will the presales work? Glad you asked. As we said above, next week we will be opening up CHICKENFOOT.US for everyone to have their own account. When you purchase a Fanclub membership, your account will get supercharged and become your gateway to the ticket presales.
Whenever NEW tour dates are announced (not *yet*, hold your horses), fan club members simply need to:
1. Log into their account on CHICKENFOOT.US
2. Click on the TOUR link to go to the tour section
3. Make note of their unique CODE that will appear on the page.
4. Click on the purchase link that will be displayed, and then enter their code on the ticketing page (Ticketmaster, etc).
* Anyone who purchases a Fanclub membership NOW (before the CHICKENFOOT.US accounts are available) will also automatically have an account created and enabled for them.
INTERVIEW WITH THE BAND
Joe Bosso, who also handled duties on the cover story for Guitar World (available now) has shared audio excerpts from his interview with Joe, Mike and Sammy (Chad was otherwise occupied with birth of his new son). Check it out!

I'm in. Ordered the fanclub package. A little warning (glitch), the order process goes through and it never asks for a shirt size. I e-mailed about it - hopefully they'll have the bugs worked out soon.

It didn't ask me either. I'm guessing they send everyone an XL? Not sure. Let us know if they respond. Excited to get great presale tix! Guess I'll get the cd this way as well. Wonder if they will have any meet and greet things going on? *bounces off the walls* lol
Peace
So, fans will now be 'Chickenheads'. Sounds like some sort of voodoo ritual.

I would kill to be able to go to the Graspop Festival! Chickenfoot, Disturbed and Nightwish all in one night back to back. I'd probably throw up, piss myself and pass out all at once. So anybody have some spare change laying around so they can fly me over to Belgium?

Ship yourself in a crate. Be sure to mark it "Fragilee", so people will think it's from France.

Anyone notice what is included in the VIP Package for the shows? "Exclusive Chickenfoot Magic 8 Ball" :wtf: :spit:
I like to think that this latest, fan-friendly announcement of an actual fanclub, can put to rest all of those thoughts that this is a one-off sideline project. People generally don't cretae (see footnote) fan clubs unless they plan on doing something that lasts at least a little more than 30 seconds.
This may explain why I have not created a fan club for my own sexual conquests, mighty though they were.
I think that the chaps think they have something to offer with this new material and are going to go with it and see how far they can take it.
footnote. It was a typo, but I like the way it looks so I'm keeping it. Please send all complaints to PM, Gordon Brown. 10 Downing St, London. SW1. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope and a piece of dog shit.

Awesome. House of Blues or some classic LA venue like the Wiltern or the Palladium, I predict, for SoCal.

Ok here is the deal about the shirt size. About 300 of us were early birds. That means we got on just when this offer came online and you could NOT select the size when we became fan club members. It was a problem with the site. They fixed it later. We are all supposed to get a email in a day or so that will direct us to redorder the "Free" shirt in any size we want. He said they know who we are. Call if you want to make sure but you don't need to just look for the email.
Dig? :)
(just got off the phone with the guy)

WOW am I ever irritated!!! The stupid site won't let me sign up. It keeps saying "Please use your 5 digit zip code." I AM, DAMMIT! So I called, and the guy's supervisor said that I should try again in about an hour, as the site keeps "going up and down." OK great. At least I have my login name! Guess what it is?? footchick! LOL

I finally got the order to go thru. I love the note with the confirmation that says, ..."because the band will be playing smaller venues, there may not be enough tickets for fan club members." Uh, so what's the point of a pre-sale? Pre-sales should get the best tickets. Someone needs to take a cue from the Aerosmith fan club.

Signed up for the fan club before they had the shirt sizes, we'll see what happens. I would hope they'd assume XL seems to be a pretty common size.
Anyway, this is kind of a dumb thought, but they say on the fanclub website:
PLEASE NOTE: There will be a two ticket limit for all presale tickets on the upcoming tour.
Now, my guess is that as a member this means per show? I'm definitely seeing multiple shows this tour if at all possible, so I would love to get the presale for any show I'm going to. But the way it's worded that is kind of ambiguous.

I'm thinking that must mean two per show. Since they are playing smaller venues the availability may not be that large so they want as many fanclub people to get in as possible? Otherwise resellers who join the fanclub or whatever could load up and buy em up? I doubt it's 2 tickets for the entire tour. We will see.
Curious when the email will come for the shirts. I'm thinking with the holiday weekend there was no rush on it. It is a known issue though. The guy I called talked to his manager and said they know about it etc so I'm sure they will make it right eventually. It's just a Tshirt but stuff like that makes the inner geek/fan in us happy especially when the CD and tour is on the verge of being unleashed.
Silly as it sounds in this crazy and violent time it's also nice to have something to wear with a Peace like symbol on it. I dig that aspect of their logo. Maybe in a way it represents what they found in this collaboration.

I have about half an hour to decide whether to join the fanclub. I realized with fanclub purchase this brings the cost of a ticket to the 120-130 range after ticketmaster surcharges.
I just don't have the inclination to be dinged that for a show. Someone out there should PM me some comps just for being me, man. I'm special like that.

I think smaller venues are worth way more than larger ones and we're getting off cheap here! Especially if you go to a show in the fall again.
Just my opinion.

I agree. I put it in this context for myself: If I was sitting here and someone came up to me and said for $110 you can go see Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Chad Smith in a small club....well...it wouldn't take long to come up with the cash. :thumb:

If I knew the tunes better I would come up with the dough, maybe.
I'll take a chance on the cheap seats tomorrow and if not, oh well.
Also, I've seen Hagar three times. Twice in 2004 and once solo last summer.
I'm not a hardcore Hagar fan. These were incidental occurences.

Did anybody else buy the fanclub bundle through live nation? Cause I paid the extra $40 and I still ain't a member. I've called both live nation and fanfire and both tell me its the other's fault. I never received an email or any type of confirmation regarding the fanclub.
What irritates me is I really just wanted the regular tix, but for whatever reason it said these were the only ones available. Of course after I bought these I tried again for the regular tix and...it worked! So live nation basically forced me to get these and has yet to give me the fanclub.

No. And some of us signed up early b4 they let you pick a size. I called customer support and they said about 300 people were effected and that we would get an email asking us to select the size. The site had a mistake early which didn't include a shirt size selection thingie.
Still no email and no shirt. Maybe I should call again. If anyone wants to personally call I did post the info on the first page of this thread I believe and you likely have the info in your fanclub emails. Hopefully this gets worked out soon.

OK thanks voived!! Got it. Now my question is how is the FASTEST way to "get in line" on the vegas pre-sale? I'm assuming thru the chickenfoot tour page with the code? Is calling the minute they go on sale an option?
I went thru the ILAA site on the VH 04 tour and MY problem is I'm not a fast typist and frankly, panic with my "sausage fangers":drunk: At that time, I got in within seconds but missed out as they SOLD OUT:irked: . I was only able to get 5 star pkg b/c thay added another STL date.

Does anybody know how I can get my Chickenfoot Tshirt replacement??:irked:
I ordered a size XL on 10-18 as part of the "premium" fanclub pkg
They finally sent me a stupid size small around 11-17
Called Fanfire up for replacement. They said I ORDERED SMALL (liars):irked:
They instucted me to print THEIR return label and return.
I returned the item
Called today for status. They said they didn't get (yet?) and can't exchange without tracking number. THEIR prepaid return label HAD NO tracking number and no one told me to get it at post office. I'm S.O.L.
Can anyone advise?.........
THX in advance...
