I'm real glad about the tour. Not too sure how close to the Winnipeg area they will come, so I may just have to fly somewhere to see this. I really do not want to miss this.

Interesting though, we have an outdoor classic rock music festival weekend each year around July. Both Dave and Sam have played at it in the past few years. Sam said he had an absolute blast playing at it and would definitely come back if invited.

...NONE of us EVER knew ANYTHING in relation to the band's status. Period. That had been stated and reinstated time after time, yet every single PD member just couldn't see that. Or rather, they did, they just refused to believe it.

Beileve what you want, I don't care. But I, and the rest of the fellow mods, knew just as much as every single one of you that frequented the PD.

Nobody was ever promised backstage passes, promos, or any other freebies. It wasn't even ever mentioned. If you felt "baited", then you obviously read far too much into what you were told.

When the PD was shut down, indefinitely, none of us ever received a warning. So, once again, for something like that, we were just as much in the loop as any of you. Imagine getting up, taking your shower, eating your breakfast and driving to work. Only, when you arrive at your place of business, you find the doors have been chained and locked. That's what it was like, okay?

And, I disagree. The party is only just beginning. It's just a shame Ed and Al refuse to RSVP.

There's no question in my mind the PD was opened up originally to build up the excitement because, at the time, there was going to be a new Van HALEN album on the horizon, meaning with DLR singing. Michael Anthony indicated as much at NAMM 2001. If they hadn't really been planning a new album back in October 2000, it never would have been opened in the first place.

When things fell through to the point of no return, then they closed it. And frankly I think it will remain closed until they think a new album is a real possibility again. Unfortunately for the ass-kissers, that will probably be never. Oh well, no backstage passes for you.

I had no intention of getting involved in this situation, it's not really something I am comfortable at all with, but at this point I have to get involved because it's now getting to a level I don't approve of and involving this board in personal situations that SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be posted on here.

If this shit was allowed on other boards, I don't care, it isn't allowed here. I don't want to see anymore exchange of these very personal attacks, which may or may not be true. Frankly I don't care either way, it stops now. If I see it anymore, I'm banning the parties involved, no questions and no reprieves.

Take this stuff to email or just avoid each other, I don't care, but I don't want in on this board in any shape or form anymore.
