Not that anyone believes them but The Keepers say there will be a new DLR song in record stores soon (two weeks?). Speculation is that it's a solo/DLR band song for a movie. I seem to remember reading a while ago that Dave did a song for a soundtrack......does anyone remember what it was......or have I completely invented this in my head? http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/eek.gif

I think you need some shut eye.

Jonathan,

Maybe you're thinking of the "Ashley Abernathy" thing???

Nah. I thought I read something recently about a movie soundtrack - not that the news was recent, I just read it recently - but it's entirely possible I'm spending too much time here and dreamt it http://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/biggrin.gif

Definitely not the AA thing though. The Keepers are being pretty insistent about a new tune, I know they have little credibility but it's the first time I remember them saying something positive besides the T countdown thing which was just weird.

Dave had a song that appeared in the Steve Martin movie "Bilko." The song is called "Bad Habits." It's an oldie, and it's in the big band style of music that Dave likes so much. Unfortunately, the soundtrack for the movie was never released, but you can hear small portions of the song in the movie (if you can suffer through thathttp://216.10.25.192/vhlforum/smilies/wink.gif
As far as any recent DLR movie contributions, I haven't heard about anything.

I doubt Daves solo profile is high enough for any movie work right at them moment. Guess theres big and small movies, but most that have soundtrack releases go for the latest and greatest at the time it seems.

Maybe its for one of those movies that goes staight to video stores and skips the theatre completely.

Maybe it's the new Val Bertinelli made-for-TV movie?
