Safe to summize Brian May wasn't the driving force behind those Queen melodies and counter melodies. Makes you wonder what a new Queen effort would be like without Freddy.

If I remember correctly Starfleet was a show Brian's kids watched, so they wrote a song based on it.

I am guessing that strange video is from the show. Hopefully he did the vid for his kids.

The song is actually a remake of the Starfleet theme song which as stated was a favorite of Brian's son. The video is a collection of clips from the show.

Either way, it's pretty awful.

The other two songs on the EP are kick ass. I have it on cassette.

the solo is amazing but the video is scary and the songs chorus is hilarious. so bad i love it in fact.

Wow. Ed said in an interview once that at one point during this project he broke a string and just kept on playing out of tune. Sounds like it might have helped...

Agreed! I listened long enough for the guitar solo, and had to stop when it was over. Holy hell that's a horrible song.
