It's nothing new, but I thought people would be interested in seeing who's picking up the album release rumors. This article appeared in the Toronto Sun on Aug. 18th, and the London Free Press on Aug. 19th. The article was written by the same person, so maybe the two papers are part of the same newspaper syndicate (there were small differences between the two version -- title, extra sentence here or there, etc., guess the editors are responsible for that). Anyway, here it is:

August's dog days of music releases are about to end, starting Tuesday. And it won't let up until about three weeks before Christmas.

The fall-winter release schedule, typically the busiest time, offers something for everyone.

And besides the confirmed releases, rumour has it a new Our Lady Peace studio album may be out before the end of the year, along with a Van Halen reunion record with David Lee Roth, and new music from Marilyn Manson, Melanie B (Scary Spice), Daft Punk, Placebo, D'Angelo, Tom Green, Debbie Harry, Simple
Minds and Econoline Crush.

I am surprized that the LFP would post anything like that - London (Cananda)is an island of shitty music.
