it was a fun time! the crowd was small but enthusiastic.. Mike arrived with Kevin Dugan, and immediately apologized for being a little late... He spent a lot of time talking to each person and signing everything that was brought and bought (they sold all his mini guitars for $25 each and hot sauce). Dugan said they would be at NAMM again this year. Mike said "Chickenfoot" will NOT be the name of the new project. Mike posed for pics with each fan and was beyond nice to everyone- a true class act as always!

the store was playing VH music the entire time and it was a lot of fun...

Kevin & Michael are a couple of the best people I've ever met in my life! I used to want just to meet any or all of the guys from VH, just because they were VH! After meeting Kevin, whom I've become pretty good friends with, and eventually meeting Michael a few times, I realized that I wasn't privlidged to meet them because they were a part of Van Halen, but rather that they were just a couple of the best people i've been privlidged to meet in my life just because they were themselves! Kevin is a great friend, what else can I say about that? I've had the pleasure of hanging out with Kevin & Michael a few times, and Michael is just one of the most down to earth people you could ever meet. Believe it or not, he's just a normal guy, who "happens" to be a legendary rock star... Go figure??? For 30 years or so, he played for one of the best bands in Rock-n-roll history, and he can sit & talk with you about anything. Actually, I never asked him anything about music, but I recall having a good conversation about my niece. He gave me some really good advice, having girls himself, that I will never forget! Back to Dugan... It was a rare privlidge to befriend him, I've learned more about the business from him than at any production company I worked at! It's not all business either! He's a great person, and has also given me some good advice at times when I needed it! He's a funny ass SOB too! Probalby should have been a comidian or something! So... In my humble opinion, Kevin Dugan & Michael Anthony are two of the best people I've ever met, and I've met a TON of people in my life, especially when I was still in the music business! I do have to say that MOST of the big name artists I've met over the years were pretty cool also, with a few exceptions. Even EVH, for a few brief momets years ago, was pretty cool. They're all just people, with cool ass jobs! Ok... I'm done rambling for now! lol...
