Yeah I remember reading that in a Guitar magazine a long time ago that he was influenced by Harvey Brooks.

It's VERY cool to read Mike talking about things more musically--and in more detail than I've ever heard from him before. The gab of VH drama in other interviews is not really what I wanna hear from Mike; his angle on music is. Cool read!
