Yesterday I tried in vain to purchase Charlotte 5 star tickets through ILAA. Each time I'd hit the enter key it came back with a message to try later due to inventory problems (probably their server was slammed).

I tried for three straight minutes every second or two and kept getting the same message. At 5:03 PM the message came back "sold out".

I also tried two other cities with identical results.

Pretty sad...just wondering how many other people tried to buy at these crazy prices and got shut out?

I was able to get ILAA for Chicago. You got in just a bit too late. People were seeing the inventory problem message right before the packages came up sold out. In the other ILAA threads they brought this up.

I guess it's different from 2004...I purchased two 5 star tickets for Seattle for my wife an I with no problem...I believe the tickets were available for at least one week before I ever got around to purchasing them, and some four an five star packages were available right up until the week of the show.

I am not sure if it is selling because of demand or a small amount of these 5 and 4 Star deals. Maybe they had a limited amount of them.

I'm thinking they may have sold the majority of them in advance to brokers.

well i defiently got shut out and i was at the computer with Credit Card In Hand 30 minutes before they even went on sale.... i .... like alot of you think that the brokers had the first shot...

not sure brokers will be able to profit off of $700 tickets. I think ILAA basically eliminates ticketbrokers.

this tour is gonna be huge,especially if VH promotes in properly. For all those sammy lovers whining and saying there will be no interest in VH anymore. Well guess again. DAVE,being back in the band has the whole rock world excited again. Im loving it how all the sam lovers were so wrong about the attention that the Dave led VH is getting. Dave and Ed back on stage again,where they belong. Hopefully a new cd in the near future?

I'm loving it too. I heard all the stuff about how nobody except rothtards want to see Dave with VH. Then when they got together, I was harrassed saying that I didn't understand alcoholism when I said that they could still tour this year. I was called names....Here we are....

I talked to ILAA live last night by phone and the guy told me that they sold out the first three shows in 10 min. After all these years and all the bullshit it looks like there is still interest. See you in Greensboro!!

here is the trick...you need to be logged in and have your info all set up ahead of time...then begin clicking and closing the little box about 5 min. before the time...keep clicking and closing..and they will open right at the stroke of time...and then you choose your number of tickets...and then the next screen will have all your info already loaded...no need to waste the time typing...and then click next.. enter credit card, click next, click yes to confirm, then email...done in less than a min... if you take the time to type all your info in from that 1st page...you may be out of luck.... but what do I know... i only have sammy tickets vip : vh i'll do reg. tickets, only cause i cant afford, but i would if i could

Yeah that is what I did and got 4 Star tix for United Center thu ILAA. I am going to try for All State tix for the general public sale tomorrow.

I didn't have an account before I bought tickets. I got the "inventory" message many times - tried for about 15 minutes - finally got in. Typed in all my info and got the ticket.

Only problem was, I could only buy one. My husband was online at the same time and he could only buy one. This was for Detroit. I emailed ILAA and they said they'd put us together.

If you only tried for 3 minutes you gave up too soon. There were tix available until it said "sold out" on the ILAA site.

I made the mistake of not having my account set up ahead of time for the Charlotte show. I got in, had two 5 Stars in the cart, but when I entered my info and hit continue, it brought me back to the home screen saying SOLD OUT. Really sucks, but I'll try my best to get good seats tomorrow when they go on sale. If no luck getting good seets through Ticketmaster, there's always eBay and the ticket brokers. After all, since ILAA shut me out I still have that $1,100 I was going to use for the 5 stars. $1,100 should at least get me a couple of good tickets.

Charlotte will be the 3rd time seeing VH on opening night: 1991 in Atlanta, 2004 in Greensboro, and 2007 in Charlotte. Can't wait, especially now that DLR's back in the band.
