Ummmmmmmmmmmm....OK. That was really amateurish. However, let's think back to the early days of MTV (those of us that were around then). Was it really any worse than Flock of Seagulls or The Buggles or Duran Duran, or any of the other crap Eurosynth bands getting crammed down our gullets?
Just think how cool MTV might have ended up being had they kept a steady stream of oddball Van Halen videos going constantly. The mind boggles...
