I'll admit, I've never gave the women tennis players much respect,
but I watched the Davenport /Williams match today and found new
respect. LD playing with the bad back and Venus kept fighting back
everytime she got down. It went on for almost 3 hours back and fourth.
It was one of the greatest things I've ever seen in sports.

Only thing is neither one is all that attractive facially... Although, I
think Venus is attractive in her own way. People talk and say she
has a manly body... But she acts more like a lady than most women
I've ever seen.

Props to Davenport for playing so hard with the bad back. You could
tell she was in pain but these women want to win this so bad they
take the pain.

Im a BIG tennis fan, and play a bit myself. I've seen that match three times now, and it gets better everytime. It was one of the best tennis matches I've seen in a long time. For Venus to come back from match point the way she did was fuckin amazing, and I'm very happy for her.

The Roddick vs Federer match today was pretty good too.

Great, great tennis match even though Lindsay lost. I've been a fan for hers for awhile. I got the idea of naming my daughter "Lindsay" after watching her win Wimbledon in 1999. My wife liked the name but changed the spelling to 'Lindsey'. Anyway, I give props to Venus for playing hard.

The announcers were so "pro-Venus" it was ridiculous.

Yea I thought they were pro Venus too, but I kinda liked that. I was really pulling for her since it had been so long since she won. She paid her dues and deserved to win. Had Lindsay been healthy though I think she would have taken her. Great match though.

Speaking of hot tennis players. Elena Dementieva is waaaaay hot. Best damn legs I've ever seen.

Women's pro tennis - best legs going IMO. Absolutely.

That was a phenomenal match, and I only caught the end. I grew up playing a lot of tennis, and watching the great Borg/McEnroe/Connors wars. This one was right there.
