MTV just reported that a WB representative confirmed to them that VH has scheduled a press for this Thursday at 11AM PT.
When asked if it was to announce DLR's return WB said yes but not the only issue to announced.

Plans for a major world tour will also be announced as well as more details about the remasters.

I'm merely placing it here in the rumor mill as a heads-up just in case someone tries to pass it off as a "legitimate story"

thats how they are allways intoduced in concert then the singer says "red rocker sammy hagar"

just for the record, on multiple occasions in the past couple of weeks — after playing VH tunes — the night DJ on a vegas station has said something to the effect of "we're expecting news from the van halen camp by the end of the month. hopefully, it will be to announce roth is back."

now, she's never said where she got the late july thing, and she's always qualified it by saying "hopefully, it will be to announce roth is back." i don't think she was referring to the remasters.

It seems like some of you didn't get my point when I started this thread.

The story is obviously bullshit. I posted it in the rumor mill, word for word as bullshit so nobody would take it seriously.

Since the story was posted, the Church of Cherone has closed it's doors. No doubt it was a direct result of the shit that took place there last week. Before they closed up, Bill O'Neill posted that the rumor in question did not come from him, not that I ever believed that it did. Bill and I have had our share of arguments in the last few years, but at the present time, to my knowledge, we have no quarrel with each other. I do however know his work well enough to know when a post is or isn't him and a rumor monger is one thing that Bill definitely is not. The same dickbreath who was stirring up the shit at the Church last week would like nothing more than to revive all the old website wars that have taken place in the past, but I'm not buying into his little games. Hopefully nobody else, Bill O Neill included, is either.

And one more time, as AJW said....
