Both are two examples of Sammy's "angry" pieces of music. Which do think is better? I like both but I'll have to go with Humans Being. I think its guitar part is better.

I think that Human's Being is the best out of the two. The guitar is excllent, and the drums also.

Judgement Day for me.

Just listen to that guitar solo in the middle. Incredibly cool, fast, aggressive and energetic. Plus the song is much more fast (a rarity among recent VH material), and I prefer the intro a bit more. Plus, Sammy has a very good voice in JD, which you can't barely hear in HB.

Excellent topic there "Red". Humans being was more of an emotional one for me, I saw them play it on 3 tour and a tear almost came out, while Judgement day just simply is a rocker tune that has a masterpeice of a solo in it. "Surfs up Eddie!!!".....

Humans being, because it has more edge to it. I liked Judgement Day too, though, just not as much.

One thing I failed to point out, Humans Being singing wise doesn't compare at all to Judgement Day. I don't know if Sammy was talkin or rappin or what but from that standpoint Judgement Day is better. The one thing about Judgement Day though is guitar playing wise, it's easier. House can play Judgement Day but I don't know if he can play Humans Being. I might be wrong but.... oh well.

Two of my favorite Sammy songs.....god.....I would say that they are a dead heat. Don't tell anyone that I'm wishy washy on this issue. Hell....I'll give Judgement Day the win by a nose because Ed just rocked the solo. It really was an amazing thing to watch.

Yes red I can play both songs. From a guitar players standpoint, judgement day is more difficult to play and has a masterpiece solo in it. However, the way he chills out in Humans Being, and takes it nice and easy floors me. Ed says all the time how speed guys can throw in all these notes when Clapton could always play one that would speak more to your soul. That is the effect I get from his solos in HB. I just caught HB on internet radio and its not great sound quality that way, but Sammy was way off pitch it sounded like to me. Never noticed it before.

Ok, I got a stupid question...
Is Humans Being actually played during the Twister movie or is it in the credits or some crap like that? I wasn't paying attention when I first saw the movie and I really don't wanna sit through it again if the song isn't even a part of the movie.

I'm pretty sure it is played in the movie. I vote JUDGEMENT DAY! One of my favorite songs. I don't like Humans Being that much. Sammy wrote it in 20 minutes and it shows. And I hate how he talks most of the song, it's like raphttp://www.vhlinks.com/vhlforum/smilies/redface.gif It has some great guitar playing in it though.

I think that they both crank but the HB intro riff just rips for only a three chord progression. Also HB has a much more tasteful solo as I think that the solo in JD is way too short except for the two handed over the top tapping
