Probably an old topic, but just wondering what songs you guys would play if given the chance to jam with VH(of course 30 mins after you got over the shock of playing with them)???

Crossroads-- pretty easy if your backin' Eddie on this one, no matter how shakey you are at this point. plus about 10 mins into jammin' you might get in a zone and get bold enough to "take one" if Ed gives ya the nod!http://www.vhlinks.com/vhlforum/smilies/wink.gif

I would love to play all VH songs but that is what he plays on tour for hours and hours..months....years... I would play what he wanted too.

I wouldn't care about any of those songs. I would just want to jam with the tape rolling and tap into some songwriting wisdom. I'd rather hear about the inspiration or stories behind particular song versus learning how they are played. Hell, Ed may not remember how to play half of 'em. ( no disrespect intended) I'd pay close attention to his rhythm playing which is often overlooked. He's a funky motherfucker!!

But if you had to choose which songs ....what would they be? sucker in a 3 piece?

Oh, probably "Romeo Delight", "Dance the night away", or "Cathedral". He is the master.
