Humans defiantely kicks ass and is one of my faves.

Quite possibly the best song ever to come out of the Sammy era. And as well as being a great song, the production is awesome.

My favorite Sammy Song for sure. The solo is fantastic.

I must agree with you Glenn on that one. It's amazing how a little tension in a band can create something so powerful. Don't you agree? You can just smell the tension coming through the speakers as soon as the music starts coming out. When I am driving in my car in the AM to work, as I weave in and out of traffic, I always have this song on, gets me pumped up for a crappy day at work!

I like the first and last Van Hagar songs - Good Enough and Humans Being. Maybe my two favs., it's a lot of what came in between.....uhh...like POJO said

Okay...okay...okay...I've regrouped.

Human's Being. I liked the story behind the song. How Sammy came in with the lyrics all about tornadoes and shit after Ed and the Twister folks told him they didn't want a song about tornadoes.

What came out of it WAS a decent song. It really is one of about two or three Sammy songs that I can play more than once without dry-heaving. Human's Being, Don't Tell Me, FWYS, a couple off of FUCK...and a couple off of 5150. The problem is...I listen to most of the songs once...and I'm ready for some DLR....

Human's Being is absolutely one of the BEST Hagar era VH songs no question!

For all the hardcore Hagar fans out there, at least it can be said that VH with Hagar behind the lead mic ended on a totally up note...(musically anyway) What a KICK ASS SONG that is!!!

Ya know what I love most about that song? The way that almost the whole song has Eddie ripping in the background. Listen to all the cool sound effects he makes. It's like a guitar solo from the second verse on. It's amazing. I always turn up the last couple seconds of the song, because I wanna hear how cool the guitarwork is at the end. It's such a well put together song and every band member does their part superbly.

Definitly a great song. Humans Being is up their with dont tell me, aftershock, amsterdamn, finish what ya started, 5150, top of the world, best of both worlds,cabo wabo, poundcake, summer nights, DREAMS and feelin. I cant imagine what Sammy and the boys would have come up with next if they would'nt have kicked sammy out.

It wouldn't have been as good because for Sam not have been fired, he and Ed would have had to become friends again. If that happened, they'd lose the tension present in that song. The beauty in songs like Don't Tell Me, Feelin' and Humans Being is that their is a cool intro, wailing solo and a bitchin' outro. If Sam hadn't been fired, it means he'd had to have became close with Ed again and then they'd lose that attitude they had, no ATTITUDE, but a pissed off attitude.
